A "tobacco silk" showing a Cornell hockey player in action from about 1910. Available on eBay. I have no connection, but just thought it a nice item for collector. It's cheaper by far than the Ken Dryden rookie card! As I post this there's about a day left to bid.

What is a tobacco silk, anyway? I can see the picture, but I still don't get it.
They were included as premiums in cigarette boxes, like a pokemon card in a box of cereal. Noodling around, I found this article on tobacco silks:
