Quite a shock if this is true. I would have thought the race was between Grillo and Bothwell, with maybe DiGiulian (the assistant) having an outside shot.

I wouldn't want to be the Union AD right now, but it's not impossible to find a decent coach this late. I recall another ECAC program that made a pretty good hire late in July about eight years ago...

reports are true, accepted yesterday, wants to tell Union players today and starts at Vermont tomorrow. 3 year contract at $100,000, had a one year deal at Union.
