Title: Guelph @ Cornell, 10/20/2022
Post by: Dunc on October 20, 2022, 04:08:36 PM
One last Exhibition before the season Begins in Minnesota.

Excited to see the energy tonight at Lynah especially with Nate McDonald returning. Can't write a story any better than this: Winning Senior Night against Clarkson to playing against us the very next fall!

From Goalie to Seive! **]

Oof... kinda feel bad for Nate there - pulled after giving up 4 goals in the first (1-2 of which were just horrible defensive plays for Guelph)

On the other hand we look great - passing beautifully

Jack O'Brien (D) playing forward tonight. 4 injured forwards already. Wonder how that's possible, given we've played only one game against an opponent. Hopefully the coaching staff is just being overly cautious with these guys and they'll be available for Duluth...

I guess we find out next week if the puck movement is a real thing or just the 2 Canadian teams are really bad.

Going from a home game against Guelph to a road game in Duluth has to be the biggest swing any team in the country will have this year.

I didn't vote but you hafta jeer during the game and then give him love after.  As an alum he'll get a kick out of being the villain.

i think you can maybe interrupt the newspapers to give him a nice hello, then call him a sieve for 60 minutes, then buy him a beer.

For what it's worth, Harvard put up a 9-spot against Guelph.

Very true, but also at the same time, we got Guelph at there highest rest level while harvard got to play them on there 3rd game in 3 days. Who knows maybe we would have scored 15 had we played them saturday instead :-D

True about the rest. But Harvard is absolutely loaded with offensive talent. I'm actually looking forward to catching the stream once they are playing a real game-i want to see just how much of their potential is actually translating to the ice.
