Down 1-0, 4 minutes into the second. Just started watching.
ugh. Stienburg kicks a rebound past Shane. 2-0 'gate.
3-1 now, with Howe replacing Shane. Our goal by Berard was great stickhandling.
Surprised we didn't get a review for offsides on that second goal. They review everything else.
Motley for 5 and a GM for head contact. Woof.
I think that was light for a major, but so was last night's, so...
No clue whatsoever how we got the extra penalty there. That takedown on Betts was very dangerous.
watching the replay the hit to the head call is always funny to see called when its actually caused by the player getting hit.. if they called it that way all the time way you could call it on 20 checks a game. no real head contact except for the dude whiplashing into the cornell kid..
PP really deciding this whole series now.
Welp, let's get them tomorrow.
Hopefully we won't have another six reviews.
Home series losses at Lynah have been rare (last in 2015, and before that 2007). Let's keep it that way.
All Cornell third (http://www.tbrw.info/games/cornell_Third_Games.html) games.
I think both 5 minute calls were reasonable. The refs were following the rule book.
The third Colgate goal was redirected into the net off of Shane's face mask. So Colgate lucked out on two of their goals.

He makes a good point that regardless of whether the majors were right, it's an officiating failure to miss them on the ice.

I can't recall Schafer so publicly berating officials after a game. He'll surely be suspended by the ECAC.
no problem with the 2nd one.. if the first one is a penalty then the rule is broken. the contact by the defender was not to the head. how do you control what the person getting his is gonna do when they follow thru and cause the contact. most of the actual hit was chest and and below as it was.
we have seen plays all year with clear head contact get no call and some went to review..
but he is right you cant be missing majors as penalties and then review it and call it based on slow mo.. we have seen way to much of that this year. it leads to plays like where Andreev gets hit in the head and gets a concussion but no call happens and the video is poor and no call at all and the kid sits out games because of it.

Or maybe he'll receive an official "letter of reprimand" like RPI's coach:

I am under the impression that if there's no call on the ice, they can only call a major or nothing on review. Is that right? Cause it's dumb.
I get they can only call a major thing.. but we are seeing way to many no calls turning into majors.. I think coaches would have less issues if they had called something and then decided on review it was worse, than call nothing and then on review it was a major..
did they go back and reset the clock on those 2 penalties as well? or does a goal count on a non called penalty thats then a major but play doent stop for 10 min in real times?

Hopefully they also gave at least the same to the cameraman who was the cause of Coach Smith giving the finger.

I didn't want to start the thread for Game 3, but a few lineup changes. Motley and Ertl are out. Ben Tupker and Kovich are in. Muzyka is out. Suda is in. I'm sure Schafer not happy with 5-minute major Muzyka took last night.
Even when we're dominating 5 on 5 play, it's hard to beat Benson. He's pretty good, much better than his record would suggest.
I suggest we not give up goals tonight.

Fucked if I will. I have been a curse this season.

I am surprised about Ertel, I thought he played well last night. Maybe he's just pooped -- fresh legs.
I like all three replacements, though. I think Ben has learned his lesson about starting shit and putting his team shorthanded.
Colgate's Colton Young is out because of that hit.
