The Q student paper, actually website now, is not the Cornell Daily Sun. But, damn, they did a good job. And this is at a place where the communications-journalism program is named after Ed McMahon.

I don't remember the Sun ever publishing on weekends.  Today the print edition comes out Monday, Tuesday, Thursday.
Maybe the web site should be the Cornell Frequently Updated Sun.

Sometimes the original name of the publication remains after its mission or publishing style changes. GQ is not quarterly and yet still uses those initials. PCMag where I worked for years has been online-only for a decade. The Daily Sun is no longer daily in print but it is 7x24 at least for the major sports.
