Some links follow regarding how some schools and their alumni are using the NIL rules to funnel money to student athletes. I see this as largely the professionalism of college sports as opposed to real NIL opportunities that make business sense to the providers, as they are using alumni donations to a Trust to fund the NIL money going to the athletes.
In order to compete in the future, will Cornell need to have something like this, and does the Ivy League have any restrictions that others don't?
