Is it just the camera work or is the framerate a little low, too?

Something is a little off, I thought it might be lighting.

Nope it's Motley and Mack switching off on that line, so still no Matt.

That slo mo shot looks like framerate is part of it. This is kinda nauseating.

2-zip.  Look good so far though the D has let Yale set up some plays.

We are dominating at 5 x 5, and doing a great job keeping them hemmed in the defensive zone. Yale's only looks have been on the PP. If we stay out of the box we can completely stymie them.

Stienburg and Berard still out.  Is Mike back?

Yale really outhustling us here in the third, and Shane has left some big rebounds, but so far still 3-0.

Ben Tupker doing some fun bear wrestling behind the net, first he held the guy down, then vice versa.

Not a great third period, but Shane played well when he needed to. Our power-play didn't look that good, but that's been the case much of the season.
The Yale announcers rarely called out the names of Cornell players when we had the puck. I also never heard them say that Schafer wasn't behind the bench. The Cornell ESPN play-by-play guy does a much better job of describing which players have the puck regardless of which team they are on.
I live about 2 miles from the Yale rink. It was sad not to be able to attend the game in person.

4 for me. Agreed.

A workmanlike shutout over a Yale team that was clearly overmatched 5-on-5.

While the team played a solid overall game, I thought the Tucker line really stood out. They have really come on of late.

Do we assume the bench minor on Yale at the end of the second period was for someone on their bench bitching too much about the penalty call which gave us our first power play?

i thought maybe it was for the interference they didnt call as we entered the zone.

The announcers said it was a bench minor, though, so it couldn't have been interference.

Well, it wasn't too many men, so it had to have been someone who got a bit too mouthy with the officials. It's been a rough past few years for Yale, but it's a bit hard to have sympathy given where they were around 10 years ago

I had a bit of head scratching and sympathy because the announcers were talking about limiting practices to something like 6 guys at a time.

I guess they could hope for OT as they would be ready for 3 x 3.

Who was it who hustled back to break up the Yale 2 on 1 with a diving obstruction near the end of the game (there was no pass because he took away the option)? Nice speed and sacrifice.

Colgate at Yale goes to OT so maybe that 6 man practice will pay off tonight.   Though ESPN+ seems to think the game is over. :-(

He didn't play in the 3rd period.

Seemed hobbled after a tough blocked shot in the second. But I was watching for him and I'm pretty sure I saw him back out after a number of shifts. Perhaps they decided to end his night early after taking a closer look at him during intermission.

Hopefully not another "lingering injury."
