Title: Signatures
Post by: a3001b on April 15, 2003, 08:09:16 PM
I am not usually a signature kind of person but I was wondering if anyone had any advice about what to use if someone is going to sign a puck. I figured that having our wonderful goalie sign a frozen four puck would be great.

any ideas?

thank you

Silver sharpies work well on pucks

They seemed to sell out a lot of souvenirs, and not just at the end.  If anyone knows where I can get my hands on one of those long-sleeved t-shirts with the full 16-team bracket on the back, let me know.

this shirt is more than amusing, and some of you out there might want to grab a copy especially if it ended up getting printed like this.

it's a shirt on the ncaa shop page, hailing minnesota as the champs. with a template designed to list the games minnesota played, and the scores against these opponents. i guess we weren't the only people banking on cornell to make it to the finals-- the tshirt man was too.

I was going to ask if anyone had the 'bracket back' long sleeved shirt in a Large to trade with the one I got in Medium, but I guess I should just be happy I was able to get my hands on one before they sold out.   They sold out early on Thurs, and had a few more on Sat.  I realize that they don't want to make souvenirs in excess since they will be more difficult to sell post-frozen four, but still seemed like they skimped too much.

Soon to be Dr. Robin

Be careful about publicizing you have one of those shirts.  I almost beat up a twelve-year-old girl at breakfast Sunday to take hers. ;-)

So you got beat up by a twelve-year-old girl? I guess it is good that you came close, but I would have expected more from you.

Also interesting about that NCAA t-shirt template is the banner "Hail To The Victors."  That is the title of Michigan's Fight Song that we all had to hear about 80,000 times Thursday.  Wouldn't you like to celebrate a championship by donning a shirt with a rallying cry of another team?

curious- was there more than one FF hockey puck design sold in Buffalo, or are they all alike?

Dang.  I got the one without, not even thinking there would be two.  Anyone else think there were maybe too many different kinds of merchandise for sale in Buffalo?  (Oh no, if you want to get that t-shirt you need to look at the kiosk on the other side of the rink...)

well, I do know someone who got (won) a puck with the names on it....but that was from the NCAA challenge thing at the convention center, and it was from COKE.  not sure if they made their own or what.

I bought a pen that writes in some sort of paint/ink combo from the campus store last year.  It worked well, and I think it was about $4.
