I wonder if Mr. Peters watched any Cornell tape this year?

We are big and bruising...we just do it faster than we used to. ::innocent::

That article is
excellent. Anybody know who wrote it? Is it Brandon?
We should recognize the people who have done great work on Cornell hockey in media. Maybe have a Cornell Hockey Media HOF. Off the top of my head:
Roy Ives
Grady Whittenburg
Art Mintz
Thomas Fleischman
Adam Wodon
Jason Weinstein
Tony Eisenhut
Brandon Thomas
John Whelan
Age Manocchia

Yes, it is.

Brandon's writing on Cornell hockey is top-notch, whether it's his game summaries, the Off the Crossbar feature, or his Freshman Friday Q&As. It's especially important given that the IJ doesn't really cover Cornell sports any longer.

I know it hasn't been very long yet, but you may want to consider adding Topher Scott to that list. I don't miss a lot of home games, so I don't often wind up hearing his color commentary. But this past weekend I was away, so watched both games on ESPN+. Topher did a great job! On a few occasions he was pointing things out as teaching moments for any youth hockey players watching. I hope he'll continue providing the color commentary for the ESPN+ broadcasts.

Yes, Topher was spot-on in his analysis last weekend. As good as any of the guys on NHL broadcasts.
Topher does a lot of those "teaching moments" with videos on his twitter account if you're interested.

That's cool. I love listening to him break down what I just saw and then rewatch it. He could be full of shit but it sounds great and I'm none the wiser! **]

Bill Howard, who is a regular contributor to this listserv, should also be included. Not only did he cover hockey for the Sun, but he continued to do so after he graduated. In the mid-70s, there were many nights where he dictated an excellent game story, written on a tight deadline, to me in the Sun newsroom from some distant rink in Boston or Providence.
Listserv? Jesus, I thought *I* was old. :)
Also, shout out to Kyle Rose and Keith Kannenberg for pioneering online media for The Faithful. Ooops - also Greg Berge, of course!
