You can pause the link on the ESPN site to see exactly when the puck hit his stick. I tried to do the math. Shane is 6-0, with a few inches for skates, and is bent over. You could also figure it out based on the height of the boards. (Anyone know this?) Either way it is very very close. And my opinion (is this rule?) is that if it is that close, the call on the ice has to stand.
What to you think?
Either way, I loved following the Big Red for this season. This "goal" will always be some controversy to remember. We play UNH again and we probably would've won.

I watched this multiple times on my VCR, with all the angles that ESPNII showed, and I still can't believe it's definative, but I am biased:-D . It has also been reported that the replay official had one on ice view which was definative. What that was we will probably never know. Sort of like the secret plan that Nixon had to end the war.::rolleyes::
