Same old, same old.  Penalties kill drives.

How clueless is the cornell coaching staff when it comes to clock management? I've said it before, last year. Just inexcusable mistakes at the college level

Just turned on the game.  Cornell with 100 yards of penalties in the late 3rd quarter.

But with 2 minutes left in the third, Cornell up 21-7.

21-7 Cornell end of 3rd quarter. As expected Marist is not much of an opponent.  It will be a different story next week against Yale.

Three unsportsmanlikes; several procedures.  You name it, Cornell did it.

The option "scheme" looks shaky.  And heaven help if if Catanese can't play.

Actually, Cornell better hope Harold Coles stays healthy.

On the bright side, starting QB looks legit even if Marist's D isn't quite the '85 Bears

Losing either one dooms this team to a one or two win season.  Catanese has yet to show he's an Ivy level quarterback, but he looks miles ahead of Kenney.  Coles without Catanese would be swamped by a 'real' team's defense.

No argument there. Look at the bright side, Cornell has at least one win this season.  And with Colgate soon to be 0-4 this may finally be the year they beat the Red Raiders.

The scheme was shaky but the schematic was sound?
