Greg and Anne will be there in Section 24.
Tim and Maggie and 2 sympatico friends who bought the tickets 2 weeks ago. Don't know what section. ::banana::
I'll be there. My seats are in 22 for Friday and 23 for Saturday, but frankly I'll just sit in the CU Section.

If history is a guide, Cornell should basically own that entire corner, 21 - 26.
We ought to have a shot at a dominant presence. Clarkson travels very well but has a significantly smaller base. Harvard and Brown will have very few fans. I assume the non-partisans will be solidly in favor of Brown.
I assume the crowd will break down roughly:
.51 Unaffiliated
.25 Cornell
.20 Clarkson
.02 Brown
.02 Harvard
I'll be there with my wife, Kim. Section 24, on the aisle with 23.
Me and wife in 24.
Can't do it this year, but will be watching our semifinal wherever it's streaming.
(...which, according to Cornell, will be on Saturday...?! https://cornellbigred.com/schedule.aspx?path=mhockey#game_id_29621)

Sorry we'll miss you. Guess Cornell will just need to get themselves to Buffalo!

So I just emailed Brandon Thomas.

Yeah, they're probably getting it from a few different angles now. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon.

I'm OK with that.
Unexpected kid-complication is keeping us from going....
If anybody wants a subsidized room for Friday/Saturday at the Hampton, let me know. (Became non-cancellable yesterday....)

Bill and Gwen. Reserved a month ago: You could say we believe in the Big Red. You could also say Happy Anniversary. It's a round-number anniversary for us, so it's a nice getaway regardless of whether Cornell made Lake Placid.
Also, the weather:
Temp Notes
Friday 19-34 snow forecast, 5-8 inches
Saturdday 16-28 morning snow showers
Sunday 20-41 mostly sunny
Plus there will be residual snow. There is one carwash in town.
Happy Anniversary. You should inform the team so they give you a present of some sort...

I've already been dragged into the shower by the team in the Dick Bertrand era, so not much else could go wrong. At least back then you didn't have a $500 maybe-water-resistant smartphone in your pocket with an explosive lithium-ion battery.
A part of me still believes women-in-national semifinals merits a true fan's attendance more than men in the Eastern semifinals. But Hampden has probably been booked solid for months. Mystique of the NCAA and all.

Agree with you about the relative merits, though I'm sure more fans might consider the women's game if the men weren't so close to the bubble. But just FYI, Booking.com (https://www.booking.com/searchresults.en-us.html?label=gen173nr-1FCAEoggI46AdIM1gEaKwCiAEBmAExuAEHyAEP2AEB6AEB-AECiAIBqAIDuALM4tPkBcACAQ&sid=c82d8008a651147ba9db67a699ee4fff&sb=1&src=index&src_elem=sb&error_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.booking.com%2Findex.html%3Flabel%3Dgen173nr-1FCAEoggI46AdIM1gEaKwCiAEBmAExuAEHyAEP2AEB6AEB-AECiAIBqAIDuALM4tPkBcACAQ%3Bsid%3Dc82d8008a651147ba9db67a699ee4fff%3Bsb_price_type%3Dtotal%26%3B&ss=Hamden%2C+Connecticut%2C+USA&is_ski_area=&checkin_year=2019&checkin_month=3&checkin_monthday=22&checkout_year=2019&checkout_month=3&checkout_monthday=24&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2&group_children=0&b_h4u_keep_filters=&from_sf=1&ss_raw=hampden%2C+ct&ac_position=0&ac_langcode=en&ac_click_type=b&suggested_term=hamden+ct&suggestion_clicked=1&dest_id=20018886&dest_type=city&place_id_lat=41.395802&place_id_lon=-72.897202&search_pageview_id=0ed665e61df102d6&search_selected=true&search_pageview_id=0ed665e61df102d6&ac_suggestion_list_length=2&ac_suggestion_theme_list_length=0) still shows rooms available in Hampden at Whitney Inn & Suites, and lots of places are available in nearby New Haven, where many fans might prefer to stay anyway (pizza is better).

Today, choices must be made.
A
true fan could, depending on the teams' fortunes of course, string together a three-day menu:
Hamden on Friday, Lake Placid (hopefully) on Saturday, and Hamden (hopefully) on Sunday.
Or, if everything's a bust, the schedule reduces to a quick trip to Hamden and back. ::doh::
(GBR!)
Was joke: the idea Hamden-New Haven is booked solid on a winter weekend day. And no overflow room in Bridgeport
To travel well Clarkson needs only a short bus
Marty and Janice have arrived. Assuming the athletic office tickets are on time we will be in Section 24 - I assume.
Does anyone know how to pick seats? I couldn't go today due to work/ kids in school but plan to take my daughters tomorrow.
I went to the Whiteface/ Lake Placid site and can find tickets, but it assigns Sect 3 with no way to choose.
I know we can probably sit where we want, but I would prefer to have accurate tickets just in case.

Look at the site again. It is harder to choose than it should be but if you click around you can probably figure it out.
That said I couldn't figure it out beyond that because it offered me section 21. I bought in 24 through the Cornell ticket office.
Yet Jim Hyla said there were section 24 seats that he could see after I had given up.
I forget exactly what I needed to do and I don't have a computer around to try again.
I know that you do need to enable flash for the site and then I think there should be a button that appears to select seats. I think it's above the select price button. You may have to click the seat map.

Assuming it's Flash, try the Internet Explorer.
FWIW, there were plenty of seats open in 23 and a few in 24 for the game today.
