Title: Cornell Club of Boston Frozen Four Gatherings
Post by: Tom Pasniewski 98 on April 05, 2003, 07:25:28 AM
The Cornell Club of Boston invites all Boston area alumni to watch Cornell take on the University of New Hampshire in the National Semifinals on Thursday, April 10th beginning at 11:30 a.m. (gametime 12 Noon) with other Cornellians.  If Cornell wins, they will play for the national championship on Saturday, April 12th at 7 p.m.  Cornellians are also invited to come watch that game with other Cornell alumni.

Locations:
Thursday, April 10th, 11:30 a.m. - Atlas at Jillians', 145 Ipswich Street across from Fenway Park.  If enough alumni show up, we can try to have the game on the giant 8 foot by 8 foot wall screen.

Saturday, April 12th, 6:30 p.m. (if Cornell wins) - We have to move to The Sports Depot because the Red Sox game gets out around 5:30.  The Sports Depot is at the corner of Cambridge Street and Harvard Street in Allston.

Please e-mail me at tom.pasniewski@verizon.net so I can tell them how many people are coming.

Also, the Cornell Club of Boston is currently conducting a Frozen Four tickets auction.  See the Ticket Excahge for details.  The auction ends at 5 p.m. on Sunday the 6th.

Just an update that the Cornell Club of Boston gathering will be on the third floor of Jillian's on Thursday.  The game will be shown on their 50 inch television and food and drinks will be available.

Saturday night:  If Cornell is playing and you plan on coming to watch the game with other Cornellians on Saturday night, call the Northeast Regional Office on Friday at 617-557-4168 to find out the location.   The gathering may be moved to Jillian's from the Sports Depot if they are willing to offer us space when they are otherwise crowded.  The Sports Depot will still be showing the game on at least some tv's if you prefer to go there instead.
