Note to Matt: Rich S. is a long-time contributor to Cornell hockey discussion and avid college hockey fan. He should be most welcome. Also, if his school, Clarkson, was there instead of us, I'd be rooting hard for them; hopefully he feels the same way. But even if that's not the case, welcome him in.
Please note that the Cornell Club, on E. 44th between Madison and Fifth, is hosting a watching party for Thursday's semifinal with a cold sandwich and salad buffet for $15/person, membership not required (though they ask that you call to reserve a spot). Yeah, I'd love the noise thing and no problem handling it. I was at Clarkson in the early 70s when we played in tiny, cold Clarkson Arena...now THAT was incredibly loud!
