Title: Ivy League website CYA
Post by: billhoward on April 14, 2018, 05:28:37 PM
Ivy League website can't keep track of its links, blames you if you click on a bad link. Go to the Ivy League lax standings at https://www.ivyleague.com/standings.aspx?standings=1091 (top photo). Click on the schedule. Instead of the schedule page, you get the error telling you you made a mistake.

You mean on the invisible Contact Us link? If you know it's run by Sidearm Sports and go to their site, you get the message directing you back to the Ivy site: "If you are an existing customer, and have a question regarding the software, please submit a support ticket via the link on the backend of your site."

It's not for lack of people at Sidearm:

Aggressive sales plan and lack of competition? Administrators eager to offload a nuisance element to the lowest bidder?

this stuff is non business/money making.. why dont schools push it off as projects to the CS depts who are always looking for ways to challenge the kids.
