Watch the Frozen Four with Fellow alums!

The powerful Big Red men's hockey team has made it to the Frozen Four
through hard work and amazing last-second heroics!  Come watch their first
game on Thursday, April 10 at 9am in two locations.  Yes, it's during
working hours, but this may not happen again for 20 years!  So play hookey
for a couple of hours and join in the cheering.

San Francisco:
The Daily Grill in the Handlery Hotel just off Union Square is open at 7AM
and they have TVs at the Bar.  (There is also a restaurant where guests
could have breakfast.) Jon Handlery HOTEL '78, is the General Manager of the
hotel.  The address is 347 Geary Street between Powell and Mason.   (contact
Peter Lee in the Western Region Office if you have questions about this
location, pel7@cornell.edu)

South Bay:
The Boardwalk in Los Altos.  It opens at 8am and they have one big screen tv
and lots of small ones.  This is a fun, relaxed place to watch a game.  The
address is 4940 El Camino Real in Los Altos (Phone (650) 964-7500).  It's
just south of San Antonio Road (and North of Rengstorff) on the southbound
side of El Camino.  Their breakfast food selection doesn't extend much past
coffee, so bring your own breakfast food!  If I get up early enough, I'll
bring bagels.  The grill opens at 10am for burgers and sandwiches.

Then, if the team wins on Thursday, they will play at 4pm on Saturday April
12 for the NCAA Championship.  We'll gather at Scores Legendary Sports
Restaurant at the Bridgepointe Shopping Center in San Mateo.  Another email
will go out on Friday if the team wins.

If you need directions or have questions, contact me at rg87@cornell.edu.
If you can't make it to either location, Thursday's game is on ESPN2 and
Saturday's is on ESPN.

GO BIG RED!
