if anybody happens to know, could you inform us where the athletic dept has received tickets in the buffalo arena?
also, same question regarding the band.
that way, if we can't get tickets in the cornell section, fans could look on e-bay with an eye for tickets that are somewhat close to where the official section and the band are.
thanks alot.

has the map, and from an e-mail from the ticket office, they say that
the Cornell Section is 102 and 103
thanks tom.
does anybody from the band know where they will be seated?

Do you know which school got 114-115? It is the corner my tix are closest to.

good question BRA. The 4 of us can be our own little cornell section no matter what tho. Judy and I might not be the absolute loudest but we have no qualms about shouting loud and shouting proud amongst a sea of UNHers or westerners.
For the finals. I had to sell my semis tix. But I sold them in the family, so it will still be a mini-Cornell section.
And as long as my voice makes it back (still suffering from Albany, actually) I will be screaming also.
Look, if this is anything like other 4s, you will be able to move as not all seats are taken. If we are nice about it we might be able to expand our CU section.
Especially for Thursday's Cornell semi. it's at noon, and I'll bet that several mich/MN fans won't come until later --> empty seats to slide closer to Cornell
Last year, the bands were behind the goal, in literally the top three rows of the rink. I see no reason that'll change this year. Kinda sucky.
The bands are in the back of sections 201 and 214.

Even the bands whose fans are not in those corners? Am I correct in assuming the Cornell band will be in section 201, which is above the corner where the Cornell ticket alotment is?
I posted this elsewhere, but:
I need the opinion of someone who has been to the HSBC. Which section would be better, Section 307 Row 12, or Section 110U Row 26?
Granted Ive never been in the HSBC Arena before, but why would a band be in the luxury box?

I would bet that the 200 level has regular seating, with luxury boxes situated at the top of that level.
For people like RedAR who are overly curious about their seat views, I found a website that might be of interest:
http://www.seatdata.com/html/nhl_sabres/nhl_sabres_photos.htm
Or better yet, the same site has a clickable seating chart:

They provide you with small photos. I order to get higher res pictures, you have to register. But the pics are good enough to get an idea.

It depends. If you like watching the game TV style, take the 300 level seats. If you like to see the play develop, take the 100 level seats. They are both good options.
The seats we are in are not luxury boxes, but they are normally 90 dollar seats. I am shocked and overwhelmingly giddy that we get to sit there, it means we will actually be a part of the crowd.
I went to a Bruins/Sabres playoff game at the HSBC (then the Marine Midland Arena) a few years ago, and they screwed up my ticket order, so they gave me tickets in the 200 level to make up for it. It's not a luxury box; it's pretty much "Premium Seating" - meaning that you have a waiter and such in your section and basically don't have to deal with the big crowds in the 100 and 300 sections. I liked it, but to see The Red, I think I'd rather be out among the rest of the fans.
Let's Go Red!!!

Any bets as to whether there'll be waiters at the NCAAs?;-)

Please oh please oh please... :-P
I'm assuming because the Cornell sections are 102 and 103 that the Cornell band is in section 201. Is that correct?
To my knowledge the band has not been informed and may not know until we show up. Logic would state 201... but we are dealing with the NCAA and they also believe that a 25 person band is adequate.
