According to my calculations which may differ from Cornell's in which case who can say who is right (I am right), our 3rd goal this year will be our 7500th alltime (http://www.tbrw.info/reports/rptTeam_Record_All/rptTeam_Record_All_Cornell.pdf).
you should contact the athletic department. maybe they can announce the milestone it at the game (esp if it is a home game)
or let the Sun know and they can put it in the recap article.

I've done this in the past and they have blown me off. Granted that was with an SID who was an asshole. But if anybody wants to try with them, go ahead.
It was not the current SID or any member of the staff.

So I just sent Brandon Thomas an email about this.
We'll see.

From your own data, also 11 league goals shy of the 5000th
ECAC league goal. (Edit: not ECAC. I see this column includes pre-ECAC conferences. Nevermind.)
Be nice if they stopped the game and brought you the puck. Let Brandon Thomas deliver it. Let the crowd chant, "Not the asshole." Too bad it happened after Jim Roberts '71's book on Cornell's greatest games has gone to press.

I actually posted the same thing, noticed the same thing, and deleted it. :-)
