According to a Schafer email, team GPA was 3.52, w/4 players earning a 4.0

The ideal player has a GPA + PPG >= 5.0.

I wonder though how many of our players on the national title teams actually made that nut.  Very few, I'll wager, and this when the team was scoring 7 GPG, if for no other reason than grading was real back then.
