At least some good news from Friday.

1970 Men's Hockey Team To Be Inducted Into ECAC Hall of Fame (http://cornellbigred.com/news/2017/3/10/mens-ice-hockey-1970-mens-hockey-team-to-be-inducted-into-ecac-hall-of-fame.aspx).

"Defenseman Den Lodboa, later named a first-team All-American, scored three goals in a span of less than 8 minutes in the third period to power the Big Red to a 6-4 victory."

There was an interview with Ted Williams in the 1980s when he was asked how good a batter he would be in today's game, given the challenges of night games, curveballs, relief pictures etc. his answer was "probably about .305 or .310". The interviewer asked if he really thought it would make that much of a difference? And Ted Williams responded "what do you want from me I'm in my 60s"....
