But with the score 13-4 (NU) after 7.5 innings, they're calling it quits and going to Providence.

OSU has cheerleaders in the stands with their band.  Maybe they're expecting a baketball game?

LOL. Hey, if the audio streams, they can call it the frickin' Fiesta Bowl, for all I care.

For audio feed of the BC/OSU game, go open your windows media player, choose Open URL on the file menu, and supply this url:

http://128.146.154.75:80/alt_stream_1

For some reason, the web site designer for OSU did a lousy job with the link to the audio feed.

A piece of the boards glass just came off in the Dunk. Guess the rowdy Cornell fans must've loosened the place up a little. B-]

On the one hand, Cornell hasn't beaten BC since they left the ECAC in 1985.

On the other hand, Cornell hasn't even played BC since Schafer became coach.

Maine seems to be holding their own pretty well, despite their 3 week layoff.  And playing "at Michigan" doesn't seem to be affecting them either....yet.

Still 1-0 BC

OSU radio announcers were just complimenting the Cornell fans on how well they traveled and supported their team. They are surprised BC has so little fan support there.

Kudos to everyone who made the trip. You sounded very loud on the radio during the MSU game.

All I want for Christmas is quadruple overtime.

Okay, well, that's all I want right *now*. Later, I might have a few more requests.

But for the moment, quadruple overtime will do.

The ice is really terrible, which explains why only one goal.

Oh, yeah, except for Cornell scored 5.

Doh.

Back to Columbus with you.

To anyone who was at the game, just wanted you to know that on the radio it seemed like even during the OSU-BC game the loudest fans were still from Cornell. Could definitely hear you guys singing over the OSU and BC fans.

A couple of folks behind me saw this as well, but I heard absolutely nothing from anyone else... In the second period, there was a flurry of activity in front of Matti K, resulting in him diving back and having to make some saves.  I swear that for a split second, the puck was sitting just inches inside the goal before being swept out.  No light came on, and no goal was called or disputed.
Was I seeing things?

It's too bad they didn't head to OT because of it.  Maybe the game would actually have had some kind of excitement to it.

Uh, in his defense, the Cornell game was much earlier, and they hiked up the heat significantly after the Cornell game. It was definitely much warmer when the second game started.
