Thank you! I love this -much better than the cheer itself.

Just tried to employ a little "in you end, oh".
A bit less crass than the original?

weather could play havoc with the crowd..  ithaca looks like all rain event so far but going into icing freezing rain now.  my house 15 miles north several inches of snow and road are awful almost not traffic on them and no plows out. by games end the city will be quite the mess.

yale heading home could be in for a fun ride 15" plus up in the colgate area. Brown wont have it much better

I don't plan on setting foot outside the rest of today. The Capital District is getting whacked and the snow won't stop until tomorrow.

Driving to Lynah from Ellis Hollow was absolutely fine. The roads were wet, but not at all slippery.

i think ithaca and south are missing most of the event..  you cant even stand up our roads.. 5 inches in the road itself. slush/ice under that

i am starting to think the injuries to the D are the real reason we are struggling to maintain late in these games.  im not even sure how close we are to what we hoped to the Dmen this year.

seems like an injury every night is changing things

Brendan's injury is supposed to be minor; I hope he's back next week because having Rauter back there tonight is suboptimal.

bliss never played
Wedman 9 games
Smith hurt now
shore 2 games
Playing rauter on D several games

course we only started the year with 9 and 3 Have barely played. Just no depth.

hopefully Bliss comes back next year

not a bad first period.. still too much scrambling in our own end. we just seem to be unable to play the puck at times.

Solid win.  Angello has been the best player of the second half so far.

Angello's ability to control the puck through contact and get off a good shot in close quarters is impressive.

The win puts us into a third place tie with St. Lawrence, but with the tiebreaker. No movement in the Pairwise; still tied for 13th with Boston College.

Cornell wins somewhat sloppily 5-3. It's 2 points and it pulls Cornell even with St. Lawrence in a tie for third; we need a win or tie vs. SLU to claim third (if we finished tied). But far from Cornell's finest game. Maybe it's the cumulative effect of all the injuries that hurt us on D. But playing against the worst team on penalty kill, we are minus-1 on PP, no goals in 3 attempts and a sloppy, horrible, disaster-unfolds-in-slow-mo giveaway at the side of the net for a Brown SHG in the third.

Colgate did what we couldn't Friday, taking down Yale, 4-2. Those heroics tie Colgate for 9th.

With everyone 18 games in (ECAC play):

1. Union   27
2. Harvard 26
3. Cornell 25
3. SLU     25
5. Quinn   21
6. Clark   18
7. Yale    16
8. Prince  15

He's certainly elevated his game from an "ok" 1st half. Looks like a man on a mission.

PP finished 0-7 this weekend
allowed a shortie
and missed a penalty shot.

our 7 home stretch we finished 3-2-2 with blown leads in 3 of the last 5 and leaving 5 pts on the board.
on top of that blowing a 2-0 lead on STL but pulling it out.

we finally get leads on teams and suddenly cant hold them.

just so sloppy , that short hander tonight was just awful to watch.

but the puck movement and shots created on the PP is pretty good when we actually get set up.

I'm not sure why you say that.

If we do lose to St Lawrence, we will have split the season series with them. The next tiebreak is record against the top four teams in the league. We have lost two to Harvard, have beaten Union, and have a game remaining with Union.

St. Lawrence has beaten and tied Union, has lost one to Harvard, and has a game remaining with Harvard.

If St Lawrence loses it's second game to Harvard, our records against Harvard would be the same. If we beat Union in the last game of the season, we would then win the tiebreak with St Lawrence even if we had lost to them the week before.

but if we beat STL its a much easier path, if we lose we have to catch them too with only 3 games to do it. if we beat them they could actually beat harvard and perhaps help us catch them too.

still we need to play a compete game.  2 goal periods are great but the D is really sputtering along at times. at 4-1 this should never have become a game tonight and it was a post away from being tied.

Let's just beat them both.

Yep.  Not an impressive showing this weekend.  Health of the D-men is the X-factor going forward.

Sling, couldn't tell whether he was wearing a cast.
