Not that I'm looking beyond MSU but there is a discussion going on on the BC board about the Red right now. Looks like they may be overlooking OSU.

All I have to say about that is "bring it on."
repeat after me...
woof
The level of woofing is truly breathtaking. The woofing gods must be bringing in temp workers to total all of it up.
The level of discussion there is so inferior compared to our board. I am proud of fellow Cornellians and Lynah Faithful. :-)
Amen to that.
My brother-in-law is a BC grad and he warned me about the board talking smack about Cornell. He used to go on the board and deliberately be negative about BC sports just to agitate all the homers. (Of course, nothing compares to the level of homerism that the Syracuse lax board achieves...)
BC fans are the worst, period - much more obnoxious than even Hahvard ::twitch::
WOW, that is really embarrassing. The good news is there are only three or four main posters so it is probably not representative of their entire fan base. But one woof from them is better than no woofs!

I took a peek at their board to see the postgame reaction. They were very classy in defeat. Gave credit to our guys, agreed that the ref made the right call on the Gionta no-goal, and looked back on the season with earned pride. I was glad to see it.
The BC posters on USCHO have been classy, too. Respect for and acknowledgement of Cornell is now nearly universal among eastern posters. There are still a few hardcore western pinheads talking trash, but of course those are the people who haven't seen the Red play.
I liked this quote from the BC board though
[Q]I can't believe I am saying this but the Cornell fans are so pathetic with their chants that I am actually hoping UNH beats them. I can't believe I feel this way but all that cheering was just so high school. Those people really need to get out more[/Q]
Man, cheering at a hockey game. You'd think we'd know better. ::nut::
I heard that one of the cheers was "Notre Dame Rejects", and that the band played the Notre Dame fight song at the start of one of the periods. Quite clever.
Likely Notre Dame, Georgetown, and Villanova rejects.
Start of First and Second periods, a la Love Story. Someone had the idea during the BC/OSU game when half of the OSU band gave a band member sour looks for softly playing the Michigan fight song. Another tuba and I arranged it on the bus to the game.
This from the school that has yellow t-shirt cladded "Super Fans". ::rolleyes::
