The Cornell Sun (http://cornellsun.com/2016/10/14/linsey-cornell-hockey-season-preview-10-reasons-for-optimism/) thinks that the team will be OK.

After watching the Red and White scrimmage - I remain hopeful to see improvement over last year.  The freshman class looked like they fit in well and showed good quickness and skill in general. Would love to hear others impressions from last night?
D. Tschantz had the best move and goal of the night and was good all night.

Note: Kubiak, Wedman, and Bliss were not dressed for the Red or White.

I was impressed by Nuttle. He looked fast, and seems to have a strong shot. If he does wind up paired with Anderson, that could be a pretty productive defensive pairing.

Edit--I thought Nuttle was a freshman, but apparently he's a sophomore who played in two games last year. In any case, he looked good!

Sorry, but I just don't know. I don't remember noticing anything one way or the other.

I wonder how did Gillam get cleared to play with a concussion last year?  seems like every sport keeps those guys off the field/ice at the first hint of one these days.

I, for one, am excited to see what's in store for this team in 1017.

"Hard in da Paint" and "No Hands"are both pretty good descriptions of Schafer hockey.
