Title: Cornell Lax @ Dartmouth 04/02/16
Post by: Johnny 5 on March 29, 2016, 08:13:53 AM
It would seem that, to date, our next opponent has sucked the big New Hampshire pine cone.
Can our kinder reverse their fortunes and notch a big "W"??

Nice big win over an overmatched Dartmouth. Starters juggled again, with Edmonds bounced to midfield, Estil and Teixeira on attack with Rupp. It worked well, but we'll see how it goes (assuming the coaches stick with it) against a much better opponent in Harvard next week.

13 goals and 11 assists by underclassmen, 11 and 7 of those by freshmen; still without a consistent feeder; maybe Teat will fill that role next spring.

No, Dartmouth is not very good.
That being said, this team seems to behave like what they are; talented but young.
If they get ahead and feel comfortable they get creative.
If they are behind, or pressed hard, they get tentative and boring.
But, I think they have the potential to get very competitive as they mature.
They most definitely are not, yet, a tournament champion.
However, they are a group to be watched closely.
If not this year, then next.
