Stewart out indefinitely with mono and Knisley out until after holidays following surgery. Bummer.

so close. ;)
Mono can kill a team. Let's hope nobody's sharing... um... textbooks.
Listening to the Kubiak intermission interview and ... goddamn Cornell is really running with the "last year's seniors were a problem" thesis even though they dance around putting it in exactly those terms.
This is not the Princeton I'm used to seeing. It'll be interesting to see whether they can keep this up the rest of the season. I'm not so sure.

They have some skilled freshmen.

NOT SKILLED ENOUGH WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (I wanted this win.)
Yale has a talented freshman in Snively.
He had two tonight including the goal with 36 seconds remaining in the third that tied the game against Harvard.
Final 2-2.
really nice effort by CU. actual shots on goal. tons of chances. princeton found a way to score on very few chances the last 2 periods. outshot by close to 30. 5 games of goal scoring , but tomorrow is the real test.
anyone hear why the first goal was waived off?

Quoting from a Brandon Thomas tweet my daughter texted me between periods:
"Cornell had an almost-goal waived off with 2:42 left. Vanderlaan was ruled to have pushed Phinney over the line with the puck underneath him."
Current PWR:
1. Yale
2. Quinnipiac
3. Harvard
4. Cornell
5. Providence
6. Clarkson
7. St. Cloud
8. Lowell
9. Dartmouth
What a pleasure this AM to check in here and see another win. Way down here in the Southland this is how we keep up, a day late so to speak. Attendance on the rise - amazing what winning does for the box office. Really looking forward to the Holiday tournement in Fort Myers this year - great line up and an exciting Cornell team. May even try to make it to Lyanh in late January. Best friend's grandson is starting in goal for Hobart so maybe we can get a "two-fer" in.
The downer last night was Cornell at Dartmoth in football shown on NBCSN. Sigh!
Hope to see some of you at Fort Myers.

i thought there might have been some early contact, but the ref never blew a whistle let the play continue for several wacks at the puck, there was no annoucement just confusion it seemed with the ref and then they went to replay.
watching the replay if they goal was taken away because of being pushed in then its a bad call. its pretty clear the D-man created any contact. and the ref doesnt even react until well after the goal and the celebration.
Goal, no-goal——I was just glad to see one of our guys try to muscle it into the net. That's the kind of goal-scoring "acumen" that has been sadly missing for a bit.
More dirty goals!
