Men's ECAC Weekly Awards. (http://www.ecachockey.com/men/2015-16/Weekly_Awards/20150311_Men_Weekly_Awards) We got 3 "Honorable Mentions." 2 for the women. (http://www.ecachockey.com/women/2015-16/Weekly_Awards/20150311_Women_Weekly_Awards)
Angello & Kubiak (http://www.ecachockey.com/men/2015-16/Weekly_Awards/20151011_Men_Weekly_Awards) get "Honorable Mention". Woods does the same for the women. (http://www.ecachockey.com/women/2015-16/Weekly_Awards/20151011_Women_Weekly_Awards)
Gillam named GOTW. (http://www.ecachockey.com/men/2015-16/Weekly_Awards/20151711_Weekly_Awards) Willcox & Vanderlaan nominated for the other two weekly awards.
Cam Hackett ECAC ROTW. Anyone know why he decommitted from Cornell?
EDIT: Says here it was because Cornell asked him to delay his arrival by a year: http://www.withoutapeer.com/2015/05/desertion.html

It sounds like he wound up starting at RPI exactly when Cornell would have wanted him to start at Cornell. He would have been part of this freshman class that is looking so promising right now.

If he had come when he had been planning, he probably would have ridden the bench for two, maybe three, years. Who wants to ride the bench for that long, if it can be avoided?
The 'Tute is a perfectly fine school. Rather he ended up there than, say, another school that should go ahead and leave for Hockey Least already (when Notre Dame inevitably jumps ship) but that will be looking for a starter after this season.
Not that it means a lot, but here's Ken Schotts' weekly awards. (http://www.dailygazette.com/weblogs/schott/2015/nov/23/college-hockey-slap-schotts-fit-be-tied/)
Daily Gazette/ECACH Stars of the Week
Time for my stars of the week.
Player/Goalie of the Week — Mitch Gillam, Cornell
The junior goalie posted two shutouts over the weekend. Gillam made 30 saves in the scoreless tie against Yale, and stopped 27 shots in Saturday's 1-0 win over Brown.
Rookie of the Week — Michael Laidley, St. Lawrence
The freshman left winger had a goal and an assist in the Saints' 5-1 win over Princeton on Friday.
Team of the Week — Cornell
The Big Red post two road shutouts.
Gillam gets ECAC POTW and also HM for GOTW. (http://www.ecachockey.com/men/2015-16/Weekly_Awards/20152411_Men_Weekly_Awards)

Um, if POTW includes position players and goalies, and is thus a higher honor than GOTY, which only includes goalies, then how can a POTY be an HM for GOTW, unless it means one cannot win both POTW and GOTW (and if that is the case, why would he be an HM?)?

FWIW, these weekly awards don't call them specifically "Honorable Mention," just "Other nominees." My assumption is that a player may win one and only one of these each week. And it's probably decided by some intern. (POTW > GOTW > ROTW?)

In addition to the league accolades, Gillam was also named the "#1 star" for the week by the NCAA:

This has happened before. Freshman X gets "player of the week" and freshman Y gets "rookie of the week." What? They try to spread the awards around and they may even have an explicit rule that you can't win both the same week.
As RichH said, I'm sure the awards are chosen by whichever poor shlub intern is last out on a Monday or something. Dude could probably pick a non-existent player for a few weeks before anybody figured it out (https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Tmk7gmS5T34/maxresdefault.jpg).
CU is CHN TOTW. (http://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2015/11/25_team_of_the_week_cornell.php)
McCrea Named ECAC Hockey Men's Rookie of the Week. (http://cornellbigred.com/news/2015/12/8/MICE_1208155749.aspx) No HM this week.
Angello named to ATB's Mid-Season All-ECAC Rookie Team. (http://alongtheboards.com/2015/12/2015-16-midseason-ecac-hockey-all-star-all-rookie-teams/) Go to the third page.
The College Hockey News ECAC mid-year report (http://blog.collegehockeynews.com/2015/12/ecac-first-half-review/) also puts Angello on the All-ECAC Rookie team, and ranks Cornell second in the league in the Power Rankings.
Gillam gets GOTW, Angello ROTW (http://www.ecachockey.com/men/2015-16/Weekly_Awards/20161201_Men_Weekly_Awards) for their performance vs. Merrimack. Kubiak was a "nominee" for POTW.
Hilbrich Named Senior CLASS Award Candidate (http://cornellbigred.com/news/2016/1/29/MICE_0129164748.aspx)

He's too good looking to be a comedian.
Hilbrich Named Senior CLASS Award Finalist (http://cornellbigred.com/news/2016/2/17/MICE_0217161617.aspx)

Visiting that link, not only does Mitch look exactly like the #1 star from Denver, but the copy points out that he got six shutouts last weekend. Impressive.

Has this ever happened before - an All-ECAC hockey team (1st team, 2nd team, 3rd or HM; all-rookie) had no one from Cornell?

I don't know and I'm too lazy to research it. But I can't imagine we had much of a showing in '93.

Looks like it was as recent as 2000-01, according to Wikipedia. There appears not to have been a Third Team until 2005-06. (You're right that we didn't have anyone in 1992-93, either.)

Does the fact that we still finished with a winning record and were on the cusp of making it to the NCAAs without a single ECAC all-star mean we were an over-achieving team this year?

I'm trying to figure out how we got picked the best freshman class without anybody on the freshman team. ::thud::
