Nice article on Ferlin's chance with Boston. (http://www.csnne.com/boston-bruins/countdown-to-boston-bruins-camp-brian-ferlin) It puts his time at CU in some perspective and from what he says is needed, it would seem that his time at CU would have helped that process.
I like Ferlin and hope he breaks in to the Bruins roster and gets a decent run like Bitz did. Quite similar players actually.

Ouch. That says something about the degree to which Ferlin's stock has dropped. He started out about halfway between Riley Nash and Bitz, but he wound up moving closer to the latter than the former.
All 3 are of course amazing hockey players as anybody who makes the NHL is, but Ferlin definitely didn't develop the way some were hoping.
Lowry signs with the Kings. (http://www.cornellbigred.com/news/2015/8/12/MICE_0812151944.aspx)
Brief mention in the article that Bardreau is signed with the Flyers and Ryan with the Sharks.
Gee, it'd be nice if a former Cornellian signed/was drafted by a team I didn't hate. Then again, I tend to hate most teams, so...

The blog is a huge upgrade over recent Sun sports coverage. Nice work.

Sadly, not a surprise.
Stingrays Re-Sign Joe Devin (http://www.ecachockey.com/men/members/cornell/20152509_Devin_Resigns_Singrays)
Colin Greening placed on waivers today by the Sens.
Watching the Phantoms-Penguins game right now. Both Bardreau (LV) and McCarron (WBS) playing.
Edit: And Bardreau gets an assist on the Phantoms' first goal.
Edit 2: McCarron gets an assist on the Pens second goal.

I was reading through some of the comments about Scrivens being released, with a few fans saying the Oilers were making a mistake and others making the good point that no one is going to pick up Scrivens on waivers due to his $2.3 million salary. But when I came upon this post (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7q1-W67-U4KaG8waFNJSWxvQzQ/view?usp=sharing), I couldn't help but chuckle!
