Arthur's going to have fun saying "LUC LALOR!" next year.  :)

No major surprises. Yanni Kaldis isn't part of this class, while Trent Shore is (Chris Heisenberg had them scheduled the other way).

Happy to see a kid from Catholic Memorial on the list.  Real Boston-area powerhouse.  Hope he's over his injury. He's Stephen Baby-sized, too.

The best part of that clip is him pronouncing "incroyable" as something like a cross between Spanish and Burmese.

Happy to see we have hockey stuff to talk about again.  Our long annual nightmare is, well, 4 more months from being over, but it's a start.

I'm just saying the band needs to learn the ZUT ALORS kick-it! music by Red/White.

I'd "settle" for this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5ujj9LYpPU).

Unless we've lost somebody in the off-season, this is the first time I can remember* us having 9 defensemen on the roster (http://www.tbrw.info/?/seasons/2016/2016_Roster_by_Class.html).

From 2004 through 2014 we had 8.  Last year (because of Lewis' late withdrawal) we had 7.

* Edit: last time was 2000 (http://www.tbrw.info/reports/rptCornell_Scoring_by_Year/rptCornell_Scoring_2000.pdf).

6 United Statians and 3 Canadians.  Seems unusual - or is this consistent with recent trends and I just haven't been paying attention?

Last five or six years we've seen a strong trend toward majority American recruiting classes.

Recruiting: USA vs Canada percentage share of recruits from both, by graduation year, since 1958. (http://www.tbrw.info/?/cornell_History/cornell_Recruiting_USA_v_Canada.html)

Cool!  So looks like a bit of both - part of a trend, but also an all-time low since You Know Who started coaching in the 60s.

Sade has had injury issues, hopefully he's healthy but I think it makes sense to have some depth.  Unlikely that all 4 freshman will receive significant playing time.

Great graph. Any easy way to add a curve of % of games won each season?

Yes.

I could probably do a regression coefficient of winning percentage against percentage of total games played by Canadians, too.  :)
