Harvard up 3-0 1st, leads 3-2 second, 2 ENGs to win 5-2. Does Q have enough from the regular season to make the big dance (skate)?

SiouxSports PWR shows Q in 15th, so they have to be big fans of the favorites from here on out. Definitely hanging by a thread.
Harvard regressed very sharply after that QU shorthanded goal and essentially hung on from there on out. The next game will be interesting with two teams that can really skate.
Like to see two ECAC teams advance. Not sure if one could take Harvard hockey winning the ECACs and Harvard basketball advancing beyond the second round (not a problem after the errant long three to win not two to tie vs UNC). Notice Tommy Amaker has gone open-collar and with a small windowpane check shirt that almost looks as if he's been to Brooks Brothers, not just Armani.
Video is challenging the Classic Redcast for quality.

CHN and USCHO have them tied for 14, so here's hoping.
St. Cloud taking out North Dakota doesn't help anybody, so it may well just be 1 team after tomorrow.

I just switched to the Big Ten. What a quality difference.

Wow. This post was a journey.
What thrilling game this has been. Only fitting that it goes to overtime.

And it's nice to hear some noise in the building
Bah! I losyt the feed in the overtime and the Fox Sports Go menu doesn't list it any more. Can't refresh. Have to find a radio feed.
Funnily enough, the two teams most affected by injuries during the year will meet in the finals. Although I don't think many people are too surprised about Colgate since they were considered to be a favorite anyway.
Looks like there's no way to get Q out of the tournament now.
Wins by Colgate, BU, and Minnesota should get three ECAC teams in.

Still completely dumbfounded by how any Cornell fan could want a team to advance that we can't ever beat anymore and that ran up the score against us and that recently ended our season in the most heartbreaking fashion and that doesn't even want to stay in our conference. But whatever. Go Michigan Tech/North Dakota/meteor.

Sorry that I wasn't more clear. I was hoping that by being 14, they'd get knocked out. No I'm not a fan. It's all meaningless now, they're in.
Colgate's in only if they win. At least through the attempts that I did, I couldn't get them higher than 17, if they lose. But if they win, they could get to 9. Harvard can still get knocked out if they and BU lose and Michigan wins.
Here (http://goo.gl/yBBRgP) and
here. (http://goo.gl/nxauD0) But they can get to 8 with a win. Even Yale can get in with
this (http://goo.gl/RikuCf) or
this, (http://goo.gl/aNPM6u) which also gets Harvard to 8.
Anyway, I'm rootng for Colgate, lesser of 2 evils, BU, and Michigan.
I found some situations that will knock Minny out. Mass-Lowell, Colgate, and Miami need to win. If Denver wins the Consy, or there is a tie, Minn State needs to win. (http://goo.gl/Gt8JCR) If N Dak wins, Minny is out if Mercyhurst and Minny State win (http://goo.gl/gTyiqg), or if the opposite RIT and Mich Tech win. (http://goo.gl/tN4GUi)
I'd like to see RIT in so if N Dak wins the first game played today, I'm rooting for RIT, Michigan, Colgate, Mass-Lowell, Miami, and Mich Tech. If Denver wins, or heaven forbid there is a tie, go Minn State.
There's probably some fault here, but it got rid of my compulsiveness for today.
Colgate is being very methodically dispatched so far. Still 9:30 or so to go.
Colgate hits the post with 2 mins to go, then Harvard eng.
Harvard, Q'pac and Yale will make the NCAA's.

Guaranteed?
Looking back, in 68 years Harvard and Yale have
never made the NCAAs the same season.

I for one am hoping for another Q'pac/Yale final. I am a rising tide fan still.
I also welcome our new alien overlords.

Same here.
It also raises the bar that Cornell is held at. I admit that I was satisfied with the team's Final 5-ishness over the previous decade, but with ECAC teams winning titles that's no longer so wondrous. 3 straight titles would really send the message that an ECAC team should set its sights on the whole thing.
BTW, it's 20 right now in LP. We picked a good year to skip.

Huh? You think Cornell hadn't been setting its sights on the whole thing for the past 12 years? There is no message that needs to be further sent other than that Cornell is now an afterthought in the ECAC.

Boo! This would've been a
great year to be there. Complete snow coverage; great conditions. Temps in the 20s, i.e. not frigid but cold enough to avoid any slush and melt. Who could ask for more?
With that kind of attitude, you should go full out: become a broadcast meteorologist and inflict your winter hatred on the viewers, infecting them with idiot dreams of Florida or the Desert. ::rolleyes::
The team's suckitude notwithstanding, I hope this winter lasts forever! Go white (ice and snow)!

The question was: What group of three ECAC teams would Scersk be least happy to see make the NCAAs?
The letter "threeve," Alex.

Would that we had all been in LP this weekend and I had indulged in a (rare) breakfast bloody mary this morning to take the edge off a championship hangover. As it is, we weren't, so I didn't.
I'm just like that every morning, particularly on beautifully clear winter ones.
It's ungodly hot and much less fun all the other months of year, so I have a low tolerance for anti-winter prejudice.

I'd have thought Dartmouth would make that list.
Actually I was thinking about the worst set if four teams to have in the ECACs and came up with Harvard, Quinnipiac, Dartmouth and Union. (The best was Cornell, Clarkson, RPI and Princeton.)

Can't support Princeton, the Duke of the Ivy League. Harvard does provoke a strange tension in me: I want them around for the ECAC semis and finals, so that we can slay the dragon, but I hate it when they make the NCAAs. Playing with fire, I suppose.

I'd be willing to try it, and I don't even like NYC all that much.
I'd do it. It would save me a hotel room.
