Title: Lynah East roll call
Post by: A-19 on February 11, 2015, 09:44:43 PM
Presuming the weather cooperates, I plan to attend.  Also going to the Cornell Club of Boston event at John Harvards.  Who else is in?

You're never alone with candy.

Unless you're driving a windowless van.

And even then, not for long.

Was planning on it but I don't know if the weather will cooperate.

Yeah, the National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Watch (http://forecast.weather.gov/showsigwx.php?warnzone=MAZ015&warncounty=MAC025&firewxzone=MAZ015&local_place1=Boston%20MA&product1=Blizzard+Watch&lat=42.3583&lon=-71.0603#.VN0esvld3ic) (not a Warning yet) starting at 7pm Saturday. Given the already poor conditions everywhere around Boston, I wouldn't be shocked to see the game postponed, but we'll see.

It will probably keep both Sucks fans away unless their servants can shovel a path and carry them to the venue lest they sully their dainty feet in the frozen muck.

They'll probably just stay at home in their A-frame.

" Due to an ominous forecast with a possible blizzard in store for the metro Boston area from mid-afternoon Saturday through Sunday, the game time for the Cornell at Harvard men's hockey game on Saturday has been moved up to 4 p.m. The game will still be broadcast on the Ivy League Digital Netowrk and ESPN3, and Jason Weinstein's play-by-play can still be heard in the Ithaca area on WHCU-AM (870)."

And WHCU Internet streaming is free ( as it has been in recent years).  For those with portable computers on your pocket radio phone gadgets, Tune in Radio and WunderRadio will stream WHCU.
