Title: Alumni in the pros -- January 2015

Another solid performance from Scrivens to steal a game for the Oilers from a buzzing Islanders squad.

Riley Nash scored his 6th of the season in Carolina's 5-2 win over Buffalo tonight.

He's smart, he knows how to generate offense, he might soon need a job.

Just sayin'.

A guy finishing off a 7.9 million dollar contract doesn't need a job.  He needs a HOBBY.  But I like your thinking.

Douglas Murray will be back on the ice, as he signed to play with a German league team:

I should go to more Sens games.  I've only been to one and Greening scored*.

* Ok he didn't shoot the puck in the net, but he was awarded a goal.  Good enough.

Well, since no one else posted it: Greening clears waivers (http://www.wbng.com/sports/Greening-returning-to-the-B-Sens-290129601.html). Seemed inevitable due to his contract, but at least he'll get ice time in Bingo.

I got to see Andy Iles tonight. He is still on the FL Everblades roster and tonight he was not the answer to the question of "who was the Everblades starting goalie". So his action was limited to the skate between the bench and lockerroom :(.

According to team stats, he has played in 14 games, 7-5 record with 0.898 save % and 2.95 GAA and a shutout. Allen York (formerly of RPI) is the #1 goalie and played well in a 4-0 win.
