Title: Cornell 16 @ Brown 42 football 2014
Post by: billhoward on October 25, 2014, 02:17:31 PM
Brown (2-3 going in) 2128, Cornell (0-5) 2 in the third quarter. On the positive side, Cornell has all its second-half timeouts left.

28-2 after three and Brown, Cornell matches Brown in the fourth with two TDs apiece, final Brown 42, Cornell 14. Cornell's quarterback Saturday was Robert Samborn, a sophomore with hockey size (6-1, 190 pounds), who combined with junior Chris Lenz for two TDs. He missed the first five games with an injury.

Cornell now has 69 points for in six games, 195 against. Columbia is even worse statistically, 62-248.

Ivies this week:

Harvard 49, Princeton 7, first Ivy loss for the Tigers (at Cornell next week)
Dartmouth 27, Columbia 7
Yale 43, Penn 21
Brown 42, Cornell 16

Harvard (3-0) at Dartmouth (3-0) next Saturday, on TV, for probably the Ivy title. Dartmouth already beat Yale.

Hard to find positives in another loss.  1-9 or 0-10 here we come.
