Not that we have a large enough fan base, but is the 1970 team the "Finest"?

Does Union really belong on that list?
Also, the '06 Wisconsin should really be in any such discussion, but the stretch where Elliot was out makes them look worse than they actually were.
Not good for us, CU vs. LSSU voting is on Monday. I suspect not many fans are into it yet.

Is there a direct link to the poll itself?

I haven't found it.

Individual votes still seem to have the power to move the percentages, and it's close, so get to it.
Not so close anymore; Lake Superior State is pulling away rapidly. If you tweet or share after you vote, please include the link, which it appears the NCAA's suggested text does not.

Sorry to be dense, but... how do I vote? I'm on the page for the matchup (http://www.ncaa.com/news/icehockey-men/frozen-fours-finest/2014-09-01/frozen-fours-finest-round-11970-cornell-vs-1994) and I don't see any kind of a poll.

So when I followed the link (on my phone) the only button I could see for voting gave me the option of doing it with twitter or facebook, and I came away with the impression that you had to tweet or share in order to vote. Since I didn't feel like spamming my friends about it, and have a locked twitter account anyway, I navigated away from the page. Was I mistaken?
The anachronistic logo is a bit offputting, BTW. Huggy Bear didn't exist in 1970...
I thought I voted twice. Once at work on a PC and once at home on a tablet. But I didn't tweet or post to Facebook so? ?
I thought that once I clicked on Cornell I had voted.

I'm very uninterested in "VOTE IN OUR MEANINGLESS ONLINE (easily hackable) POPULARITY VOTING CONTEST FOR A THING YOU LIKE! BEAT THE OTHERS! (and drive traffic to our site, pretty-please)" hysteria, but for marketing-driven "tweet to win" things, I created an anonymous dummy twitter account that follows nobody & nobody follows. Bleep-blorp -- away goes my sweepstakes entry into the ocean of oblivion.

Vote for another Safety School. ::whistle:: http://www.ncaa.com/news/icehockey-men/frozen-fours-finest/2014-09-01/frozen-fours-finest-round-11985-rensselaer-vs-1956
For those who are interested, our playoff with Bowling Green may be tomorrow. Check here. (http://www.ncaa.com/news/Frozen%20Four%27s%20Finest)
We're trailing 57% to 43% at the moment.

Vote for RPI '85 vs BU '09 today. :) (It isn't up yet.)

So Minny is losing to Maine in the last Round 2 match. That means we could be up tomorrow against BU in the semis. It brings back fond memories, even if this is the 2009 BU team.

Spoiler alert: North Dakota will win this contest. Any mention of the Hrkac Circus gets midwesterners frothing.
Today's the semis, beat BU and get to the finals. Vote #Cornell70 @NCAAIceHockey

Yeah, but can you find the right page anywhere? There's no link yet on http://www.ncaa.com/news/icehockey-men/frozen-fours-finest/2014-09-11/frozen-fours-finest-bracket and I'm not real keen on trying to suss out the exact URL by extrapolating from previous ones.

It's a terrible navigational design. After many attempts at clicking random things, I found this:
http://www.ncaa.com/news/Frozen%20Four%27s%20Finest
Before I voted, it was 50-50. A few minutes later it's 94%-6% us.
There are clearly loads of people voting.

Must be more now. After I voted it went from 92-8 to 91-9 and I did vote for CU::nut::.
and now trailing 48% - 52%
We are now behind 52-48, get to it. I had Brandon be sure to put it on CornellBigRed. Anyone who can, tweet or Facebook. We can't let BU beat us after all these years.
54-46 BU now
55-45 BU. Go vote, people - and spread the link around!

56-44 tweet anyone you know.
Keep those votes coming; we're making a late surge, up 53-47.
10 min to go and we're down 52-48
We lost
Uh no we didn't! In 1969-70 Cornell hockey went 29-0-0. There is other team in college hockey to ever come close to that record.

Hate to break it to you, but 42-1-2 (.956) is awfully close to 29-0 (1.000).
And...the only team to beat them was: BU. Screw those guys.
