Title: Women's lacrosse
Post by: billhoward on May 28, 2014, 09:21:31 AM
Syracuse has made quick progress in women's lacrosse: founded 1998, a bunch of NCAA appearances under Gary Gait, made it to the title game this year, has the player of the year, Kayla Treanor, a sophomore. Be nice if Cornell women's lacrosse could match the success of men's lacrosse or women's ice hockey.

Didn't know this before, but to make it easy on the students, their email is name@syr.edu

I would hope a national title is coming soon.

With that salary, Gait should be able to dress like Tommy Amaker.

Gait's money is not salary.  It's part of the continuing installment payments left over from his lacrosse grant-in-aid.  Like his car payments.
