Very nice. Birkmayer and the Elias Baseball Analyst series were the inspiration for TBRW. Some enterprising young fan should scan the entire print run of the IHN and put it online.

It's a great article except for the lead-in/lead-out, which isn't her fault; it's a horrible journalistic cliché that's been clogging article arteries for more than 30 years now.
