From the Hobey Baker Web Site
Dave LeNeveu – Cornell Univ. – Sophomore goaltender – Fernie, British Columbia
Two years running now, LeNeveu has had the best goals against record in the nation and his current mark of 1.14 not only leads all goalies in the land by a goal per game, but would be the lowest ever in college hockey history. He has 8 shutouts on the season tieing the ECAC record and has set the single season team mark passing the legendary Ken Dryden. He is a 1st Team ECAC All Star and Co-Player of the Year and has stopped over 94% of shots he's faced. LeNeveu leads the nation in goals against average, saves percentage and shutouts.

Congrats to Lenny and Chris Higgins! I was surprised to see Higgins split the ECAC PotY with Lenny but it's nice to see the ECAC with two Hobey finalists and the HE with only one! ;-)
The online voting at www.hobeybaker.com starts tomorrow (or tonight depending on how late you stay up). Let's show Lenny our support!

Bet all the Hockey East fans are steamed to see 2 ECAC finalists and only one from their conference...
Well, at least Hockey East got as many finalist as CHA. They'll always have that. :-D
The Hobey site indicates that Colorado College's Peter Sejna, who is from Slovakia, is the second European player to be a Hobey finalist. I don't remember hearing about this, but that would mean Sweden's own Doug Murray was the first one last year.
I still think Baby should have won. It is a travesty that he was not even included on this list. I'm writing my congressman.
Only one vote per phase this time:
