Title: Game 3: the race to 4 goals.. 1 ends up enough
Post by: upprdeck on March 16, 2014, 08:35:24 PM
Can cornell get to 4 goals in a 3 game series? Clarkson has 1 even strength goal in the series. pretty even game both teams with chances so far and a bit of luck.. clarkson missing a complete open net in the first. a couple mad scrambles in the 2nd for both teams.

Great play in OT. Really, since around halfway through the third they were cycling with impunity.

It was like watching Cornell play Cornell out there. Big guys, defensively-minded, great goaltender, very few scoring opportunities. Happy to see our Cornell take the win with effort.

Loved Andy's kiss-the-ice dive at the end. I wish there had been audio! It's too bad the glass is too high to rush the ice nowadays.

Onwards to Onion.

I think it was Bardreau and not Iles who blocked Josephs' shot at the open net in the first period.  Bardreau plays at a much higher level than most and is fun to watch.
