I am posting this here so that everyone knows. I am not going to be able to watch the tape delayed broadcast on Friday, so I am planning on listening to the game live. I figure that there are others out there who are also going to be unable to watch the game, but would like to be able to check in and see the results. Therefore, . . .
It is my reasoned opinion that if a thread has "spoilers" in the title, and you have been given two days notice, you should be able to stay away from this thread if you want to watch the game on Friday night. The score will not be placed in the main topic line, nor should anyone giving updates post the score in any post's individual subject line so that it does not show up in the "see new posts" feature.
If you ruin your late night viewing experience, it is nobody's fault but your own.
OK, isn't it about time for that Michigan guy (or wherever he was from) to post something asking what the score of this game was? ::nut::
bump (so it doesn't fall off of the screen)
BRA: whereabouts in Brooklyn. I was born in Williamsburg.
Is anyone updating here?
I am "stuck" in Florida and cannot get a TV or Radio feed.
Anyone getting internet radio to work? The ECAC site is talking about the war, and Brown's server gives me an error message in Windows Media Player that it can't open the server.
And I am in Georgia...someone tell us what is going on!!!!!
The feed is working for me.
Cornell going on the PP...
Keep trying the brown feed...i have it working...
Cornell on an early power play....
Can you post a link to the Brown feed?
http://www.onworldwide.com/on2.asx
Brown going on PP, their announcers calling it a "marginal call on Hornby."
Answering my own question...
http://www.onworldwide.com/Brown.html
Cornell kills off PP, allowing no shots.
Cornell going on PP again, these refs are not allowing anything!
More from Brown's announcers "That's an easy call... he clotheslined him!"
Paolini takes a hooking call, 4 on 4 for 52 seconds then a Brown PP.
Grant;
I still can't get the brown feed to work - what version of WMP are you using? (I'm stuck with an old one - 6.4.09)
ANOTHER PENALTY!
CU going on the PP. Most calls so far have been interference calls.
Vesce hits the crossbar...
I am not sure what version I am using. Keep trying to connect, it may be busy.
My feed has crapped out, someone else will have to do the updating.
It was working great...now its "buffering" every 10 seconds... ::help::
The feed at www.ecachockey.org is working well.
0-0 at the end of 1, Cornell leading in shots 8-1
Anyone catch the quote on LeNeveu's good stats having nothing to do with him being a good goalie? ::rolleyes::

Marcie - please take the score out of your post headings. We are trying to keep it clean for people watching the tape delay tonight, and the subject line for your post shows up in the "see new posts" feature even though it is not on the front page.
Thanks for the update, though.

Marcie, we're trying to protect people waiting to watch the game tape-delayed on YES. Can you please go back and edit your posts to remove the score from the subject line.
Thanks.

But you can actually drive to the Suwanee. B-]
Hey Mr. Timekeeper! How much time is left?
1 minute remaining...
CORNELL 2
BROWN 0
BRING ON HARVARD (or Dartmouth)
Another SO for Lenny!
I'm going to Albany!!!! (I never thought that sentence would get 4 exclamation points.)
ANOTHER SHUTOUT FOR LENNY!
lenny now one shy of the alltime NCAA shutout record
Third straight televised shutout for Lenny--and the team.
Blaeser/Moy's prediction:
Semifinals
Cornell defeats Brown, 2-0
DAMN they're good!
That is absolutely ridiculous how few shots Brown got off. It makes you wonder about LeNeveu's departure if the defense is really going to take a hit next year with the departure of the senior class. If you think about his decision, he might be able to leave right now at the top, what with getting so much national recognition and shattering these Cornell records. If next season or the season after is a disappointment (not to take away from his natural ability--but the defense could wear dangerously thin without Murray, Baby, and McRae), it might hurt his ability to get a good shot in the NHL.
Obviously this matters less in the NHL than say the NBA, because Lenny's already drafted and he clearly has an insane natural ability. But next year, his stats are almost bound to go down. Any thoughts?
littleredfan: "Any thoughts?"
Yeah. Your post is bumming me out. We still have an ECAC and national Championship ahead of us.
Let's keep going Red!

Do NCAA tournament games count towards that, or does he have only one game to do it?
So much for spoilers, anyone who does not want to be spoiled, DON'T go the the uscho home page.

One could hardly expect a news outlet to wait for a tape-delayed broadcast.
Good point!

Lenny was the second round selection of the Phoenix Coyotes, and played for Canada on the WJC. I don' t think that if his 03-04 stats slip it will change anything for him. And I want him to come back.
For anyone who saw the TV broadcast, what did you think of the black and white intro right before the game started of the Cornell players saying, "It's about ..." (ie. winning the ECAC championship, hard work, etc.). Later they had it as a commercial with just Hornby and McRae and players from other teams (ie. Moore).
I thought it was real cheesy ::rolleyes::
Oh, Blaeser and Moy also correctly predict the score of the Harvard game, 5-3. Thats something....

Let's hope they got tonight's score right.;-)

How about the third "it's about" commercial, with the Bear? It was cute the first three or for times, but they played it twice per commercial break for much of the broadcast.
Sorry about the delay. When I report from Brooklyn I am reporting from somewhere between Park Slope and Sunset Park, just north of historic Green-Wood Cemetery.
