Title: Olympic hockey on the internet
Post by: Rita on February 19, 2014, 11:23:05 AM
Slightly off topic, but for those stuck at work, and unable to avoid the spoilers until you get home to your DVR or unable to live stream the video, the men's hockey game (and women's gold medal game v. Canada) will be broadcast on Sirius XM channel 92.  For non subscribers, you might be able to sign up for a trial subscription. Otherwise, maybe today is a day to take a long lunch :).

Why not both? Watch live and stream. I watch the other red team live in Troy and stream the Big Red.

(Someone in Section L was streaming Orange bball the other night.)

If the above link to sirius xm isn't working try this:

A local westwood one affliate in Minnesota is carrying the game. Figured I would have better luck finding a station in Minnesota than in Florida.

I was (am) at work and only able to hear part of the 1st period. I had a meeting with someone and I had limited internet access and was busy and couldn't follow any of the game until the very end (OT) and that was from espn's live chat feed.

The game is on my dvr (if it went the full OT and shoot-out, I was going to be in trouble). I'm sure NBC will show the OT tonight anyways. sounds like it was a hell of a game. At least it didn't go 3 OTs ;-)
