I just received a message thriugh the Cornell Hockey Facebook folks that suggests one vote for the all time #1 NCAA goalie on the NCAA Hockey Facebook page/entry.
So find it, like it and vote.
Acutally, it is to vote for the best payer who wore #1. (That leaves out Miller who wore 39, for example).
But on my way to this page I happened to notice that the NCAA's Best Goaltender award is named after Richter. The letters, W, T and F come to mind.

Just named. http://www.uwbadgers.com/sports/m-hockey/spec-rel/100313aac.html
The NCAA is way overdue for this award. But the naming is a joke. So the best goaltender in all of the NCAA gets an award named after a guy who left college after his sophomore year, a year where the best accolade he received was making the 2nd all-WCHA team while posting a 3.53 GAA and a 0.901 Save %. He's never even uttered on the list of great college goalies like Bullock, Terrari, Puppa, Stauber, Belfour, Dunham/Snow, Shields, Thomas, Goehring, Miller, Howard, Danis, Quick...not to mention all of Cornell's All-Americans. I had to look up to see where Richter even went to college. My only association I have for him (on the collegiate scene) is the season or two where he served as the volunteer goaltender coach for Yale.
Something tells me somebody gave a ton of money to the Herb Brooks Foundation. The ECAC will keep the "Dryden Award" name, then.
I hope the college hockey community makes a meme/mockery out of this naming. Ridiculous.

These are just some of the million general Facebook discussions that are posted everyday. They're not actual awards or whatever. Don't get too excited.

That's beyond bizarre, and I'm a huge Mike Richter fan.
