So, who's going to be there?
I'm in. So is Melissa.
And I'm glad our boys will be there too :-D

Post Edited (03-15-03 21:47)
Count me in for Saturday night, hockey gods willing. B-]
I can't wait!!
::wow::
Be there.
I'll be there for both games with my daughter, Cornell class of 2017 ;-) . My first live CU game in many years, and I will be counting the days.
If Dartmouth comes back to win tomorrow night, I'll be there pending the costs of changing my airline tickets. I know I met some of you last year at Worcester, hopefully I'll get to meet more of you this year in Albany.
I'll be there, commuting from Clifton Park...what bars are we targetting? Anyone from down the Northway want to carpool?
Count me in of course (just wanted to make it official :-D )
I'm in. Picked up my airline tickets yesterday. Now I just need tickets to the games...
I'm flying up from Florida for the weekend... bringing my 0-3 record as a fan with me ;-)
John Beaber, his friend Lisa, a friend, and I will be there for sure (we have tickets in hand). Crodge2k and Anne will most likely be there as well.
Of course, Snickers too.
I'm driving up from Long Island...can't wait!
I'm there. Sweet.
I'm there if I can get there......and if the parents allow it:-/
I'm in...::uptosomething::
Present.
Checking in from Maine.....Chris and I will be there.
Just don't expect me to know all the cheers ...
It was great to hear your voice during the TV broadcast, Art. Relax in the stands in Albany. Hope to find you there.
I'm in
Judy,
Tickets are the question. I got three last week for behind and to the left of the Cornell goal at $30/ea. (on the aisle too - Yea!). My initial attempt was to get them a couple of sections down the side closer to the blueline or center ice and they were already sold out (or at least "on-hold") for most of the bottom level. Otherwise it's upper deck which is a bit higher than at Lake Placid.
If those tix were not just held for schools to turn in, then i think this is going to be some really good turnout of college hockey fans, and the ECAC will be asking themselves why they didn't move here years before.
Also, there are pre-game street block parties planned outside the Pepsi before games for at least Friday and probably Saturday too.
The Cornell Club of the Greater Capital District will be hosting a pre-game get together, but I'll have to check to see which night that is on.
What we all really should do is bring signs and banners to support our icers and make a really impressive 'TV statement" for our school! After all, there is hockey talent across the northeast that will be seeing these games.
But, will it be Brown... or Yale... or Colgate that we feast on Friday night?
Hahvahd SUCKS!!!!!
Let's GO RED!!!!!!!

Are you saying that the Pepsi might sell out in advance, or that the available seats may be in the nosebleeds? I'll deal with high upper deck seats - I've sat in the last row of MSG more than once - but don't want to be blocked out entirely.
I'll be watching at home on TV, but I am now planning to go to Buffalo in any event.
It seems as if the lower section of Pepsi is sold out...
I think the Chief is just making the point that where you are seated is an interesting question.
The Pepsi will not sell out for the ECAC's. As of now the upper deck is not open and isn't scheduled to be open. I hope that a sea of red shirts causes the people in charge to open the upper deck, but even if that were to happen we would be no where near a sell out.
The regionals haven't ever sold out in the Pepsi. In fact of the two NCAA tourneys held in Albany, only the 2001 version sold out.
I'll be there bringing my Cornell friends and my brother and his Colgate friends. For his sake, I'm hoping we see Colgate on Friday night! See you all in Albany!
And since when have we paid attention to what the numbers say on the tickets???
Just get me in the door!!!
For anyone who has not yet read the recap from uscho...game time announced:
The Big Red (26-4-1), the second-ranked team in the nation, advances to the ECAC final four next weekend at Pepsi Arena. They will play in the first semifinal game at 3:30 p.m. Friday. Their opponent will be determined on Sunday.
Chief, for you and others who may not have seen this, I posted this on another thread before. She is willing to help us out with the best she can get.
I've just gotten info from the Cornell Club of the Capital District. They have sold 270 seats in a block at the No. 1 seed end of the rink. There is a contact person at the Pepsi Arena who can help others getting seats there. They have sections 109-112.
Her name and contact info is:
Michelle Lim Van Winkle
michelle.vanwinkle@pepsiarena.com
518-487-2281
She's a Cornellian, I'm told, and is willing to help us get seats at that end of the rink.
Will I be there?
Duh. ::burnout::
Also speaking for Russell Walker PhD '99.

I'll see if I can hit you.:-) Sat. PM I got Adam. Oh well, you do what you have to at times like that. ::help::

so i will be there (nieuwendyk jersey), my fiancee will be there (underhill jersey), my apartmentmate will be there (unnamed jersey), and 5 friends from the city who are meeting us there. section 130 :-)

CU-bruno
hahvahd-DC
I'll be there with a friend or 6.
Greetings from the road (Wichita)!
I'll be home on Wednesday and in Albany on Friday. Section 218 Row P (as if I'm really going to sit there).
BTW, those were the best seats available Friday afternoon from Ticketshafter.

I had my proudest Snickers moment to date at last year's semis, Jim - I reached high up with my cane and knocked a Snickers out of the air with the handle, and it dropped right into my hand. :-{)}

Fellow Lynah faithful: I've got room for three in my Civic. Must meet me Friday in Astoria, Queens btwn 10:30 and 11. One way only. I have to hightail it back home soon after we put Danis on a stretcher. I'll have to watch the Hahvahd bashing from home. My consolation: Worcester or Providence.
I will be there, face painted.
Gonna be there with 7 friends from last year! GBR!!!
Jon and I will be there, with friend(s) as well...our last ECAC playoff trip ("last" meaning simply as non-alum, of course ;-) )
I will be driving from Ithaca, and have room in my car, if any Faithful need a ride.
Also please note that my attendance insures a championship for the Big Red (as if there was any doubt) as I have attended exactly three semis/finals in my life...1986 in Boston, 1996 in Lake Placid, and 1997 in Lake Placid. The last few years the wife (Cornell '87) didn't want to make the trip. She's now the ex-wife, and I'm going!
Andy W. '86
Hey, that's . . . great??? ::worry::
Art:
You need a refresher from eLynah...:-}
Just bought my tickets from the Cornell ticket office. I'll be there, along with Big Ben '03 and a few of our friends.
Well, I haven't been able to log in and post for a bit so I'll post this way while I figure out my computer. From Boston, see you all on Pearl Street and in the stands.
Tom P. '98
Maybe if you hadn't referred to her as "the wife" she wouldn't be "the ex-wife". ::rolleyes::
I refer to the wife as the wif and she likes it dammit! :-P
Then again, she isn't exactly the average bear. ;)
I'll be there... along with my buddy Ryan and his in-laws on Friday... His wife Chris, and our friends Gregg and Dan will be there on Saturday (an unfortunate thing, jobs).
LET'S
GO
RED
Yup, we'll be there. Anne got nosebleed tickets from Ticketmaster yesterday in section 210 (row Q, I think), but had to wait through the phone system four times or so because it disconnected her thrice and then she had to specifically request that section. The best available were on the other side of the rink (Harvard?).
I Pricelined a room in the airport area... $50 bucks a night for the Hampton Inn. My bid was quickly accepted; winner's curse, I guess, because I now wonder if I bid too much. But the location's great. Someone at work pointed out that travel is probably down a bit at the moment and said I should have bid lower. Oh well.
LGR!
hey Andy-
Do you still have room in your car I need a ride? I am still in Ithaca looking for anyway to get to Albany tomorrow without taking the bus.
Thanks ::help::
