Yale comes back but can't get the final goal, Princeton wins 10-9 Friday in the warmup game for NCAA wrestling on ESPNU. Yale and Princeton now have 1 loss each in the Ivies; Penn has yet to lose in the league. Nice game, nice to not see a raving coach on the Princeton sidelines.

I think Yale now has two losses in the Ivies...in a row...or maybe "unanswered."

Right: Yale as well as Princeton have played two Ivy games and both lost their first game. Cornell, Penn and Brown have 1-0 records.

Penn seems to be the real deal.
This could be a tough contest after Tuesday's loss.
Here's hoping we've figured out the faceoff problem & everybody is healthy.
And, where the heck is Spring?!
Maybe if they played the early games at Lynah??

And Cornell's outscored opponents 22-3 in the snow.

Thought it was 3-0 when the Bucknell coach asked:  Can we plow?  He gets game ball.

Red up 6-2 end of 3. Both goalies playing extremely well. Pannell having little room to operate.

Good win.  Nice to be 2-0 Ivy, against two of the top three (other than ourselves) league teams.

Wonder if we would be undefeated if Mock played against Bucknell.  Only loss thus far is by one goal, without our leading goal scorer.

The polls will be quite interesting on Monday. I would assume that ND moves up to #1; after that it's anybody's guess.

Why ND??
Is a Hofstra loss less costly than a Bucknell loss?

::wtf::

Best spot to be is #2. Good seeding (they can't send us to play Minnesota at their rink - it's lacrosse) but nobody's gunning for you quite as much as for #1. "Would we have won a one-goal loss if we had Mock playing, the Mock who's been averaging five goals a game recently?" I think yes.

Only because of when the losses occurred. Teams are punished in the polls for more recent losses.

Actually, I think it's good to have teams gunning for you if you're setting your sights at Memorial Day.

The article is wrong about Syracuse' record in the first paragraph.  They are actually 5-2, having lost their first game to UAlbany. They get it right in paragraph three, if you didn't read it that far.

The stats in the Syracuse-Villanova game are remarkable.  Shots 44-21 Villanova; ground balls 32-19 Villanova; faceoffs 22-2 Villanova; 12 saves for Syracuse to 5 for Villanova.  Amazing the game was that close.

I guess Villanova shoots a lot but misses, drops the ball a lot and gets it back, wins faceoffs but doewsn't clear the ball.::nut::

Both the media (http://insidelacrosse.com/rankpoll/d1media/2013-03-25) and the coaches (http://insidelacrosse.com/rankpoll/d1usila/2013-03-25) have the Big Red ranked third this week, behind Notre Dame and Maryland. Cornell got three first place votes in the media poll.
