Men's hockey has done amazing things. They came so close to the FF last year. But the women seem on the cusp of a title every year. Almost wanted to complicate the poll by adding: Men's lacrosse to the title game.

(But basically I'm just sitting around waiting for the Harvard broadcast to start. A win in Boston puts Cornell on a trajectory that might lead to a first-round playoff win and ... [please] somebody even lower seeded winning and being the sacrificial metal on the keel of the good ship Quinnipiac.

We are going to either be too high or too low after tonight -- the Harvard game is either a force multiplier for the Dartmouth game or something approaching "the last straw."

I vote for too high.

The thread title isn't really a great representation of the poll question.

That said, I voted for the women, since their condition seems like it could happen this year (if Minnesota miss their plane or something).

Their main hope is Minny's inevitable cheating scandal (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basketball/college/news/1999/03/23/gopher_scandal/) surfaces before they have to void the title.
