Now 2-0 UMass
SLU 1 Colgate 1, End 1st
UVM 0 CCT 0, 2:00 left in 1st
UMass 2 Maine 0, 1st
YES is showing Yale-Harvard basketball live. ::snore::
BU 2, PC 2
3-0 UMass,
UVM @ Clk still scoress after 1
Princeton 0 Brown 0 17:00 left in 2nd
And the Brown color guy is really funny, calling Princeton's play "disgusting" and criticizing the referee's failure to know about anything going on the ice. Princeton has had 7 minutes of PP time so far. Ah...Brown hockey.
Kinda neat having 3 different formats. SLU is on QT, Clarkson on Real, and Brown on WMP.

SLU 2 Colgate 1, 14:00 left in 2nd
Brown's radio team is always funny. They are unabashed homers, and they go completely bonkers if things don't go their way.
BC 2, Merrimack 0
Princeton 0 Brown 0 End 2nd
UVM 1 Clarkson 0, late 2nd
SLU 2 Colgate 1, End 2nd
UMass 3 Maine 0
UML 2 UNH 5
BC 2 Merrrimack 0
BU 2 PC 2
Very well versed in hockey also. They just speculated about whether losing in the first round would cost Maine a berth in the NCAA.
Princeton 0 Brown 0 End 2nd
UVM 1 Clarkson 0, End 2nd
SLU 2 Colgate 1, End 2nd
UMass 3 Maine 1
UML 3 UNH 5
BC 2 Merrrimack 0, End 2
BU 3 PC 3
Don't count those chickens just yet. Maine had never lost a playoff game at home until last night.
Is Maine-Mass a final? Wow, if so. UM-L looks like it let us down, though.
Comments from the Clarkson announcers during their game tonight. "Intimidation at home is just something Clarkson has never had in the playoffs at Cheel. If you go into Lynah Rink, it doesn't matter how tough you think you are, it wears you down and almost no team can handle it."
Words to think about the next time some bright boy says we need a "modern" rink.
3-1 UMass is at the end of the 2nd
Btw, could someone give me the direct Maine audio link, that damn wzon page never does anything for me
Post Edited (03-07-03 20:34)
UML 3 UNH 5 Start of 3rd, BTW.
UML 3 UNH 6, 3rd
NoDak 3 Wisc 1, 1st (in that league where they don't play defense)
No RPI score here.

Princeton 1 Brown 0, 13:00 left in the 3rd.
1-0 Princeton. Apparently a "lucky bounce" for Princeton. I love these guys.
24 seconds later, Brown ties it up.
Post Edited (03-07-03 20:41)
Um, Greg...this is the non-Union/RPI game thread. ::yark::
No RPI-Union Spoilers, Greg. YES is tape-delaying. :-(
Dude, what is the subject of this thread?
PU 1 Brown 2
Princeton on the PP. "Jack Dunn is a disgrace to anyone who has ever worn the stripes." It just keeps getting better.
BU 4 PC 4
If the Brown color guy says "Unbelievable" once more, I'm going to start thinking that Meehan Auditorium never existed.
"I do not think that word means what you think it means."
(Yes, I know in the original it was "Inconceivable!")
"They don't play hockey...they just take dives."
"Jack Dunn should never officiate another hockey game again. This man is a joke."
You forgot the introduction "Princeton hockey DISGUSTS ME."
It's over. Brown 2-1.
Princeton 1 Brown 2, Final.
My favorite was when they said that Princeton was stooping to the level of Union and St. Lawrence with the "clutching and grabbing." This was someone who watches Brown play regularly. LOL
Now UMass 3, Maine 2
Princeton 1 Brown 2 Final
UVM 2 Clarkson 0, late 3rd
SLU 2 Colgate 1, Final
UMass 3 Maine 2, 3rd
UML 4 UNH 8, Final
BC 2 Merrrimack 0 ???
BU 4 PC 4, End 3rd

2-1 UVM with an extra attacker goal - 1:47 left
O'Flaherty scores with the extra attacker. 2-1 Vermont, 100 seconds to go.
Clarkson scores an extra attacker goal
UVM 2 Clarkson 1, late 3rd.
and 4-2 UMass!
Penalty called against UVM, 1:10 to go.
UVM timeout.
UVM SH ENG.
Yay acronyms.
3-2 UVM. Clarkson scores again.
Clarkson another extra attacker goal. 3-2. 30 seconds.
:18 left in Orono. 4-2 UMass
Maine is sitting for three weeks.... he he he.....
Jesus, so close for Clarkson. 12 seconds, face in the UVM end. 2 men up.
UMass 4 UMaine 2. Final.
Wow.
What a great finish. 3-2 UVM final.
Game over, Vermont beats Clarkson.
What a night......
Woah... Maine drops to 5 in the PWR
Now it's
1. CC
2. Cornell
3. Minn
4. UNH
5. Maine
Now onto the CC - Denver game. Go Denver.
Post Edited (03-07-03 21:27)
Princeton 1 Brown 2, Final
UVM 3 Clarkson 2, Final (very reminiscent of our loss vs. Maine)
SLU 2 Colgate 1, Final
UMass 4 Maine 2, Final
UML 4 UNH 8, Final
BC 4 Merrrimack 1, 3rd
BU 4 PC 4, OT
UMinn 3 SCSU 2, 2nd
What about Clarkson's almost-10-year playoff winning streak at Cheel? That was pretty intimidating.
Go SCSU. Right? Maybe not. I think we want Providence to stay ahead of SCSU and get a 3 and. . .
My head hurts.
> What a night......
It continues:
BU 5 PC 4, Final (OT)
And Maine can do nothing but watch. Man, talk about a painful night for those poor black bears.... I almost feel for them....
Naaaahhh.... ::nut::
LOL.
They're interviewing some political hack on the Minny 'cast. No update on CC-Denver yet.
I think we want BU to flush Providence out of the NCAAs, along with a surprise autobid for UMass.
This just in . . . PC now tied for 14 in the Pairwise. Another loss should knock them out of the tourney as long as Denver can hold their end up in the WCHA tournament.
Go BU, and screw you too!
Providence drops to 15 because of it... if BU could pull of the sweep, that'd be real nice! (well, tie for 14, but DU wins the head to head comparison, as well as RPI)
Oh, I hope Adam doesn't read this. :-D
Third period underway at the DECC: Marsha 5, Jan 2. :-/
In the first period: Denver 1 CC 0.
After one period: Denver 1 CC 0.
Huskies score late. Now 5-3 Goofers with 3 min to play.
The Minny audio sounds like an MST3K skit.
5-3 final. Marsha Marsha Marsha! :-(
CC-Denver 'cast:
http://playlist.yahoo.com/makeplaylist.dll?id=1111202&segment=91984
Listening to 5 different casts in one evening is a hoot. I've heard *every* announcer bitch that the other team just takes dives and the refs suck. Plus ca change...
Denver scores again midway through the second: Denver 2 CC 0.
Including results on everything except CC-DU, the latest PWR:
Rk Team GP W- L- T Win% Rk RPI Rk PWR
1 Colorado College 35 25- 5- 5 0.7857 2 | 0.6022 1 | 27

3 New Hampshire 35 22- 7- 6 0.7143 4 | 0.5853 4 | 24
4 Maine 38 24- 9- 5 0.6974 6 | 0.5833 6 | 23

Boston University 37 22-12- 3 0.6351 13 | 0.5802 7 | 22
Might be nice if either UHN or BC get pushed to 3 games, but I
haven't run any numbers.
How did Minn beating SCSU drop them below UNH and Maine? St. Cloud isn't that bad. Or was it something else?
I haven't been able to figure that one out either. The Mich-Ohio tie is the only other game that might not have been figured in earlier, but it shouldn't have had a drastic effect.
Maybe a bubble TUC dropped out tonight.
Yep. Two actually, Wisconsin and Alabama. I haven't been paying much attention to the bottom teams. :-D
CC-DU 2-2 in the third... quick back-to-back from the Tigers
3-2 CC, a minute to go.
Greg quoted:[Q]Comments from the Clarkson announcers during their game tonight. "Intimidation at home is just something Clarkson has never had in the playoffs at Cheel. If you go into Lynah Rink, it doesn't matter how tough you think you are, it wears you down and almost no team can handle it."
Words to think about the next time some bright boy says we need a "modern" rink.
[/Q]I agree with you. This is one to keep around just in case someone has some "wise" ideas.
Every game matters. It looks like the loss to CC dropped DU down. Providence is in a "tie" for 13 and Denver is tied with two other teams for 15. :-(
Go UMass and Go BU.
so we go from having no rpi-union spoilers, to having no rpi-union score updates at all? What happened last night? How about you update for those of us who aren't watching it, and the people that know they want to watch it later, with a little common sense don't look at that thread? It doesn't sound that difficult to me.
You coulda started the thread yourself last night Jason :)... but in case you still didn't find out, it was 2-1 RPI... no need to worry about spoilers tonight though
or other option, head over to uscho -> message board -> scores. there's always someone in there with scores updates.
Jason,
To make it easier for you try this:
http://www.uscollegehockey.com/schedules/?type=d1
You can look at the box scores and read recaps of all the games there. Tonights will fill in after they are finished. USCHO used to have updated scores running in the home page window a couple of years ago.
E Lynah is actually the best place to look for scores for game in progress.
Or go to the Score Updates section of the USCHO forum:
http://board.uscho.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=7
