People willing to spend almost three grand for the new Macbook Pro are going to be coughing up more for travel when they book using a Mac.

Wrong.  Same prices to Mac and PC alike.  Orbitz uses the data to determine what hotels a user first sees—the splash page—on a search, and then the user may sort the hotels as he or she pleases.

Best to read an article carefully before you quote it and comment on it, Bill.  Reminds me of the first line of one of my favorite commercials these days:  "I read an article online...  Well, I read the majority of an article online..."
