I realize the result was to the liking of Cornell fans, but I thought some of you might like to watch these 1972 BU-Cornell highlights, which I had never seen before. I'm not sure who produced them, perhaps the NCAA?:

Any word on the Cornell-Michigan game at MSG next season?
That's a few years before my time, but geez, some undisciplined penalties really cost us. It also looks like we ran into a hot goaltender. I'd be interested to hear the impressions of some of those who were there.
Having watched that game and the ECAC championship game the week before, I can attest there were no "highlights" in either game.:`-( The 1971 and 1972 BU teams were very special.

As someone who was there, all I have to say is SCREW BU! (that's when and where it started).
Seriously though, that was a great BU team. Danby, Brown and Jordan were all awesome (not just that night) and we just didn't have the talent to compete. If it weren't for BU, it would've been a magnificent season. Back then, one semi-final was Thursday night and one Friday night. We had the Friday night game and beat a great Denver team 7 to 2. Play was a lot more even than the score indicates, but we (particularly Dave Westner who had 4 goals) just seemed to be able to finish our plays that night. Friday was a lot more fun than Saturday.
