So, since Princeton has no free netcast on Friday night, I'm going to get Cornell's College SportsPass and get the free 14 day trial...
I'm just wondering though...how would I then go about cancelling it? (since obviously the only reason I'm getting it is to listen to that one game). Anyone know how that works?
Thanks....
Since I've done it... you go to the "account" section of real.com , login, and it lists your subscription details. You can click on "Cancel this subscription" and it'll bring up a box asking for some details why. When you submit it (and it'll probably be blank) they give you a number to call which is the real way to cancel it.
Make sure they cancel both parts of the subscription (ask them outright, I did). You'll see it on your account page, but there's both the Collge SportsPass and the SuperPass.
Not gonna be in Ithaca, Avash?
Seems to me someone had a problem cancelling his/her subscription early in the season. Apparently there were two different 'passes' in the free trial and you had to cancel both--CornellPass and whatever the other one is that offers even greater wonders.
Use your paypal account, it has a credit card number built into it. Just make sure there are insufficient funds for them to actually "bill" you when the free trial is over.

What radio station is it on in Ithaca? I usually just listen to the free netcasts on the computer :-) . Have I been doing that while all along I could have been listening on the actual radio here, even for an away game?!
Haha... 870 WHCU
Thanks :-P (let's all pretend this thread never happened :-) )
Don't they advertise the broadcasts in your newspaper, Avash?
One would think that Athletics may make the game available for free like last weekend, so why bother with the free trial? ::twitch::
There's no HockeyCam for this weekend's road games, if that's what you mean, Tom.
