What's the score? I'm at work and the video feed ain't getting through the firewall.
am i the only one confused??? ::nut::
At this time, I'm pretty sure it's 0-0....
::wow:: Not as confused as I am. It's too early for this...
yeah....i am excited about the dartmouth game too.....but trying to get the feed 2 days in advance???? man.......someone is in serious hockey withdrawl! ;-)
Audio feed no less. Age doesn't bring the LynahCam on the road.
Yikes! That gave me a serious Twilight Zone moment...
Not to mention that it was 5:56 AM in Pontiac, Michigan where the message orginated.
Jimmy, if the feed does start working for you today, please don't tell us what happens in the game...
::laugh::
good one!
well, i hope he tells the team so they know what to do to beat dartmouth tomorrow night
Don't try to alter the future! Didn't you learn anything from Greek Mythology? Or Michael J. Fox?
And why would the Detroit Red Wings coach be interested in this game, anyway?
Beeeej
He's the Senior VP, not the coach (greatest living coach in any sport -- Scotty Bowman).
I hadn't heard that Ned passed on. ::nut::
I was thinking the exact same thing.
::help:: Can anyone give me an estimate of the travel time from Ithaca to Hanover? ::help::
Six hours in good weather.
Beeeej
Thanks:-)
my guess is 5 hours. its roughly 2.5 to Albany and I think that Hanover is about 2.5 hours from there. I would plan on 5.5 to be on the safe side.
EDIT- still think this (5 hours) tho i just saw the 6 hour estimate and chances are that i am way short on my guestimate. will be planning my route tonite and will let you know what i come up with.
Anyone have a score update yet?
Seriously, I may be able to get to my computer from time to time to check this forum tonight , but I won't have time to get an audio feed going. I know it usually happens anyway, but could someone listening to the audio feed make occasional updates to this thread?
Thank you SO much.
Mapquest says 6:53, so 6 hours is probably close to the truth, barring major weather (or "Warp speed, Mr. Sulu" :-) ).
A safe drive to everyone. Enjoy the game.
USCHO's "This Week in the ECAC" says:
QuoteNote; Cornell's senior class has never beaten the Big Green.
However, according to TBRW?, Cornell beat Darmouth 3-1 in their first meeting in the 98-99 season. Again according to TBRW? several of our seniors were on the team then.
Am I missing something (likely) or are Blasier & Moy (not unthinkable)?
Greg, as usual, is correct.
Perhaps the ECAC duo meant to say "Cornell's senior class has never beaten the Big Green in Hanover", which would be correct. I think maybe they just blew it though...
From the Cornell Hockey site:
"The Big Green handed the Big Red its only home loss of the season earlier this year, a 5-3 contest at Lynah Rink in January. Dartmouth seems to have Cornell's number as of late, holding a 6-3-1 advantage over the last 10 games, including a 4-0-1 mark in the last five meetings. Cornell will be looking to earn its first win at Thompson Arena since 1997-98."
So, the seniors have never beaten Dartmouth at Dartmouth (yet, knock on wood).
I don't know if you want to knock on wood for something that's bad. After all don't we want it not to happen.
Current seniors' games against Dartmouth:
1999 4. 3- 1 W Home
1999 23. 2- 3 L Away
2000 16. 2- 3 L Home
2000 25. 2- 3 L Away
2001 15. 1- 4 L Away
2001 24. 1- 1 T Home
2002 15. 3- 5 L Home
I thought I was knocking on wood as to the "yet". ::nut::
