28-26 Cornell at the half. Fast-paced, poor quality basketball. Terrible shooting from the field (about 28%), not enough passing and looking for better shots.
Much, much, much better second half. Better ball movement, better defense, better shooting from the field, from outside the arc, and from the line.
Three starters (Chemerinski, Ferry, Wroblewski) scored double figures with 13, 16, and 12, respectively, but the star was freshman Shonn Miller, who put up 19 points and pulled down 8 rebounds. Fouls are still a bit of a concern, and Bing is a very young team, but this was a solid win.
Freshman Shonn Miller goes crazy in the second half -- finishes with 18 points, including a spectacular follow-up dunk off of a missed jumper. Eitan Chemerinsky also played well, having a career high (19?) points.
I would be remiss if I did not point out that Binghamton was outscored by our football team.
Best part was that the second half explosion was not just barrage of threes, but a sustainable inside-out offense. Miller,Peck and Tarwater give the Big Red three viable forwards.
